Now, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/monument-valley-alba-wildlife-adventure-game\/\">Alba: A Wildlife Adventure<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>has\u00a0made a surprise appearance during Nintendo\u2019s Indie World Showcase event earlier today.<\/p>\n<p>The Indie World Showcase gave fans a look at <em>Alba: A Wildlife Adventure<\/em>\u2019s setting and gameplay, introducing players to the game&#8217;s quaint art style and feel. The end of the trailer capped off with a release window for <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/ustwo\/\"><em>Alba: A Wildlife Adventure<\/em><\/a> on Switch, coming to the console during Spring 2021.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spelunky-spelunky-2-switch-ports-announcement\/\"><strong>Spelunky and Spelunky 2 Coming to Switch<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For those who haven\u2019t heard of <em>Alba: A Wildlife Adventure<\/em> before, it was developed by the London-based development studio Ustwo Fampany Limited. Players might recognize Ustwo from their <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/lara-croft-go-monument-valley-2-free\/\">popular mobile game <em>Monument Valley<\/em><\/a>, which was nominated for numerous awards during the year of its release. However, <em>Alba: A Wildlife Adventure<\/em> is a slight departure for the studio, focusing less on puzzle-oriented gameplay in favor of a chill, stylistic collectathon with puzzle elements. The game centers around a young girl named Alba who, while visiting her grandparents on a Mediterranean island, explores the island while performing good deeds for the community.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GzXyEEQ6L2I?start=543\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;width:1280;height:720;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Much of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/alba-a-wildlife-adventure-environmental-activists-december-11\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Alba: A Wildlife Adventure<\/em> centers around exploration<\/a> and completing activities to clean up pollution around the island, all while assisting and documenting the local wildlife. In keeping in line with the game\u2019s theme, the team is planting a tree for every copy of <em>Alba: A Wildlife Adventure<\/em> sold across all platforms. As the tumultuous year of 2020 comes to a close, it\u2019s nice to see games like <em>Alba: A Wildlife Adventure<\/em> take things slow and showcase good causes.
