These appear most frequently in online service games with constant rolling content from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/12\/10\/destiny-2-the-dawning\/\">Destiny 2s<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2019\/12\/11\/overwatch-event-winter-wonderland-kicked-off\/\">Overwatchs<\/a> of the world.<\/p>\n<p>However, why can&rsquo;t the single-player games get in on the fun? <strong>Assassin&rsquo;s Creed Valhalla<\/strong> is breaking the mold and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ubisoft.com\/en-gb\/game\/assassins-creed\/valhalla\/news-updates\/5u0bZyad2ng1ZTGuWug3dh\">hosting a Yule season event<\/a>. This is part of a promise from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/10\/21\/assassins-creed-valhalla-seasons-story-dlc-post-launch-content\/\">Ubisoft to bring free season content to the game every three months<\/a>. These are open to all players, so you don&rsquo;t even need the season pass.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/NCrAzSOOoMw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Yule Festival kicks off today and will run until <strong>January 7<\/strong>, <strong>2021<\/strong>. During it, players will be able to participate in special activities and get new rewards. Those activities include but are not limited to archery challenges and&hellip; well, drunken brawls.<\/p>\n<p>Completions will reward you with Yule Tokens to spend in a new special shop for festivals. The new items include:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>M&#333;draniht Ceremonial Outfit<br \/>\nM&#333;draniht Tattoo Set<br \/>\nM&#333;draniht Ceremonial Seax<br \/>\nM&#333;draniht Ceremonial Shield<br \/>\nTraditional Yule Garland<br \/>\nSacrificial Altar<br \/>\nRitual Tree Ornaments<br \/>\nCozy Fire Pit<br \/>\nYule Beech Tree<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It is noted that to enjoy the Yule Festival, you will have to have completed at least an arch in Assassin&rsquo;s Creed Valhalla (so, Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire). Also, obviously, these seasonal items are only available during the festival window.<\/p>\n<p>Ubisoft also unveiled a little bit about their next season drop, too, which is expected in February. It&rsquo;s centered around a new mode called River Raid.
