Although the streaming-focused console hasn’t had the smoothest of launches,\u00a0Google Stadia\u00a0<\/strong>continues to expand into the gaming sphere as time wears on, adding huge games like\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Assassin’s Creed Valhalla\u00a0<\/em>in recent weeks. It seems Google\u00a0is looking to\u00a0push\u00a0its new platform even further\u00a0through\u00a0the announcement that\u00a0iOS devices can now run the streaming service, adding Apple platforms to the range of outlets able to play Google Stadia releases.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made\u00a0yesterday via the Google Stadia<\/a> Twitter page, revealing that players waiting to access the streaming service can now do so through the Safari browser app. Searching up the Stadia home page, players can boot up a range of titles on their phone or iPad, with\u00a0users able to connect a wireless controller through their WiFi or the use of a Bluetooth connection.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0will likely come as something of a relief to Stadia owners on iOS devices<\/a>, many of which were told they would eventually receive a version of the streaming-console on their Apple\u00a0platforms back at launch. While an app has existed for iOS users for a while, it only let those who accessed it set up an account or manage settings rather than play any titles.<\/p>\n
