Until Raven can fix the exploit, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/call-of-duty-warzone\/\"><em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/a> players will have to make do without attack helicopters.<\/p>\n<p>Helicopters have been temporarily removed from the game due to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-invisibility-exploit\/\"><em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em>\u2019s invisibility exploit<\/a>. Cheaters could trigger the glitch by deliberately crashing attack helicopters into the ground while firing the new vehicle\u2019s minigun. The result led to the players being completely invisible to their foes, yet still being able to do damage and secure cheap wins. With enough games being won by the cheaters, Raven made the tough call to disable the attack helicopter variant.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-duty-warzone-rebirth-island-easter-egg-guide\/\">Call of Duty: Warzone Rebirth Island Easter Egg Guide<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The news came via a \u201cPSA\u201d tweet from the official Raven Software account, with the team announcing that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-attack-helicopter\/\"><em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em>\u2019s new attack helicopter<\/a> has been \u201ctemporarily removed from both <em>Warzone<\/em> maps.\u201d While it was previously unclear if the bug was impacting players on the new Rebirth Island map as well, it would appear that the attack helicopter was just as game breaking in the other <em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> location. Thankfully, the normal helicopter will still be available for players to use.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RavenSoftware\/status\/1339607088821981184?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While this is certainly the right move on the part of Raven, as the exploit was becoming a major issue for players, it is a bit disappointing that a brand-new vehicle was taken out of the game before players had the chance to try it. Thankfully, the vehicle is confirmed to return \u201conce the related issues have been fixed,\u201d as Raven confirmed that the removal of the attack helicopter is because of the \u201cbug causing players to appear invisible.\u201d Before long, players should be gunning each other down with the streak <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/rebirth-island-call-of-duty-warzone\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">across all of Rebirth Island<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Intriguingly, this is not the first time helicopters have been <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-helicopters-gone-night\/\">removed from <em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/a>. The vehicles were taken out of the mode for balancing reasons back in October, with the helicopters having been removed for a different reason back in May. During the Summer months, <em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> cheaters had found a way to fly the vehicles under the map, with the game-breaking exploit forcing Raven to take action. With history repeating itself via the invisibility exploit, players should expect to see the attack helicopters return some time in the next few days.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, this will be the last time<em> Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> fans need to deal with buggy helicopters.
