The ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dead-by-daylight-a-binding-of-kin-chapter-december-2020\/\">&#8220;A Binding of Kin&#8221; <em>Dead by Daylight<\/em> chapter<\/a>\u00a0introduced a new Killer and Survivor, but much of the game&#8217;s focus has since shifted to holiday festivities. Today, Behaviour announced players will be able to get a free cosmetic for <em>Silent Hill<\/em>&#8216;s Cheryl Mason as part of its 2020 Advent Calendar.<\/p>\n<p>This &#8220;Advent Calendar Celebration&#8221; was introduced to fans of the game on November 25, and is separate from the purchasable <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dead-daylight-reveals-holiday-horror-collection\/\"><em>Dead by Daylight<\/em> Holiday Horror Collection<\/a>\u00a0that includes new outfits for characters such as new Survivor Elodie Rakoto. Logging into <em>Dead by Daylight<\/em> &#8220;most days&#8221; through January 3, 2020 will reward players with in-game currency, and the developers have been putting out codes to unlock cosmetics for a limited time.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/giblins-fantasy-builder-dead-by-daylight-behaviour-interactive\/\">Dead by Daylight Studio Releases New Goblin Fantasy Game<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For example, as part of the third week\u00a0for the Advent Calendar, players will be able to unlock a free Pathfinder&#8217;s Sweater for Elodie by redeeming the code &#8220;PATHFINDER&#8221; in-game between December 18 at 11:00 a.m. ET and December 21 at 11:00 a.m. ET. Now, the official <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/dead-by-daylight\/\"><em>Dead by Daylight<\/em><\/a> Twitter account revealed an &#8220;ugly sweater&#8221; called the Sweater of Metatron will be released for <em>Silent Hill<\/em>&#8216;s Cheryl Mason starting December 25 at 11:00 a.m. ET.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DeadByBHVR\/status\/1339606070210289664?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dead-by-daylight-killer-silent-hill-pyramid-head\/\"><em>Dead by Daylight<\/em> first revealed its <em>Silent Hill<\/em> crossover<\/a> in May, marking a major milestone for the popular game in that it had never featured another video game series prior to Konami&#8217;s classic survival horror franchise. Behaviour Interactive has hosted a number of famous horror characters in its ongoing title, from <em>Halloween<\/em>&#8216;s Michael Myers to <em>Stranger Things<\/em>&#8216; Demogorgon, but <em>Silent Hill<\/em> opened the door to new opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Cheryl Mason from <em>Silent Hill 3<\/em> and Pyramid Head from <em>Silent Hill 2<\/em> were the characters featured in the crossover, with Midwich Elementary School from the original <em>Silent Hill<\/em> serving as a new map. The expansion also introduced Legendary skins that can change characters into entirely new models, with one of the first being a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/dead-by-daylight-silent-hill-skin\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cybil Bennett Legendary skin for Cheryl Mason<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With much of the 2020 Advent Calendar giveaways focusing on <em>Dead by Daylight<\/em>&#8216;s original characters like The Deathslinger, it&#8217;s fun to see the developers also have an opportunity to include more content for Konami&#8217;s licensed characters.
