The area includes a resort, a bunker, and more merchants than you can shake a golf club at. Luckily, players can find plenty of those to shake at things, or more likely feral ghouls, as well.

RELATED: Fallout 76: The 10 Creepiest Locations In The Game, Ranked

With the Steel Dawn Update released, players have had a lot of new content to explore. Still, there may be things players should make sure they didn’t miss back in Whirespring before setting out on new adventures.

10 Grab Grant’s Saber

In a rush to get through to some of the larger quests in Whitespring, players may have missed a chance to grab a part of history. The sword once belonged to President Ulysses S. Grant and was a special heirloom he used during the civil war. This unique item in the game requires a password to be acquired, which can found on the shower floor in the Presidential Cottage and Museum. The sword is also part of a quest called Forging A Legend so players finding it for the first time should hunt down the rest of the questline as well.

9 Cap Stash Farming

Bottlecaps are the currency of the post-apocalypse and players need as many as they can get to afford some of the more expensive pieces of equipment in the game. While there are many ways to farm for bottlecaps, one of the best options is Cap Stash Farming. Players with the Cap Collector Perk can snag 70-80 Caps in every stash they find, and Whitespring has 19 potential spawn points clustered together where players can search.

8 DIY Room Service Quest

At one point, the locked rooms at the Whitespring were meant to be unlockable! Players would have been able to get Room Keys 201 through 206 by following a cut quest that was titled Room Service. Still, players looking for a bit of a DIY quest can still “complete” this quest. They only have to “Recover the {Item01} last seen at {TargetLocation01}” which is simple, right?

RELATED: Fallout 76: 10 Facts You Never Knew About The Scorched

Okay, the actual items for the quest were also cut but the game contains items similar in weight and design. He was a part of setting up all of the robots that slowly took the jobs of all the other employees at the resort. Most players would have missed this rarely found piece of lore as a small sheet of paper hidden beneath a wall safe isn’t easy to spot. Fallout games have always had rich lore and fans that didn’t hunt down these holotapes missed out on the full story of Whitespring. Then why not check out the oddly seven-hole golf course at the Whitespring! Not only does the golf club hold lore about the fates of those who tried to brave staying at the resort many years ago, but players can relive the struggle of those last survivors by fighting off large numbers of feral ghouls.

While the original miscellaneous quest to take care of the feral ghouls doesn’t offer much, players will find this is a safe grinding spot for experience as if things get too hairy, they can run back to the safety of the robots in town.

4 Real World Influences

The Whitespring is based on a real-world resort called The Greenbrier. If they hunt down some of the terminal messages, they can find how Lotus was deactivated quite literally after killing a client. We recommend getting massages from a more qualified videogame character.

2 Race for the Presidency

The reason players may have missed this one is not too many players run through the code of the game! Players who have dove deep into the lore of Fallout 76 know that Thomas Echart, while long dead, once rigged an election in his favor. Crafty players found that a multiplayer quest existed in the game where players were originally planned to use the system Thomas Echart used years ago to collect ballots and win an “election” against their opponent.

Players would have been granted a Presidential “power” suit as well as a Presidential Gauss rifle. The model for the rifle is available now as a paint option within the game for any players that want to experience a small part of this cut questline.

1 Vault-Tec Bobblehead

Finding the Vault-Tec bobbleheads can not only be fun but also provide incredibly helpful bonuses.
