Originally debuting on the Nintendo Wii back in 2007 and 2010 respectively,\u00a0No More Heroes\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>and its sequel,\u00a0No More Heroes 2: Desperate\u00a0S<\/strong>truggle,<\/strong><\/em> are regarded as cult-classics by their adoring fanbase. The games recently made the jump to the Nintendo Switch<\/a>, however, it seems they could potentially\u00a0be popping up on another new console in the near future.<\/p>\n

First spotted yesterday by Gematsu, the pair of games were\u00a0listed on the ESRB<\/a> website, with the age certification board claiming that two new PC editions of the game were on their way. It seems Travis could be gearing up to make a huge debut in his newest port, with\u00a0both games never officially making their way to the PC in the years following their release.<\/p>\n

As for what the ESRB writes up in its certification of both titles, the board claims that players can expect violence through laser swords, depictions of\u00a0over the top\u00a0gore, and heavily raunchy language, which definitely indicates that there’s not been a mix up with the games’ titles. If the certifications turn out to be authentic, it seems PC fans can expect to hop into\u00a0No More Heroes<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and its sequel on their PC devices very soon.<\/p>\n

For those who never played the games, the first\u00a0No More Heroes\u00a0<\/em>introduces Travis Touchdown: an eccentric, larger than life assassin attempting to rise through the ranks of the United Assassination\u00a0Association.\u00a0The game grew a large,\u00a0dedicated fanbase due to its sense of humor, ridiculously over the top story, and combat, with the first\u00a0iteration of the series amassing great reviews and going down as one of the Wii’s best games<\/a> in spite of some minor issues.<\/p>\n

Eventually, it spawned a sequel in\u00a0No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>seeing Travis return to the spotlight once again. The story of the sequel takes place three years after the conclusion of its predecessor, seeing the game’s hero embark on a revenge mission to track down a villain known as\u00a0Jasper Batt Jr, who happens to be the United Assassination Association’s top assassin. In general, the game continued the zany story and tone of its predecessor, bringing Travis back with new moves, minigames, and enemies.<\/p>\n

The franchise has since been resurrected on Nintendo Switch through\u00a0Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes,\u00a0<\/em>which was a top-down take on the series once featuring Travis Touchdown in the starring role. It’ll return in a more traditional sequel next year, with\u00a0No More Heroes 3<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>slated to hit\u00a0Nintendo Switch. The game will allegedly take place 9 years after\u00a0No More Heroes 2\u00a0<\/em>and see Travis take on alien invaders.<\/p>\n
