For all the controversy that surrounds Cyberpunk 2077\u2019<\/i>s launch<\/a> on base consoles, it\u2019s still a very good open-world RPG with a great setting and good gunplay. Some of the most satisfying weapons in the game are the sniper rifles. They are incredibly satisfying to use and allows the protagonist V<\/a> to take down his enemies in the most brutally efficient ways imaginable.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the game\u2019s cyberpunk science fiction setting, the weapons in the game are very imaginative. Add in special mods and abilities<\/a> the developers at CD Projekt Red have come up with several ways to take down enemies at the end of a scope. Cyberpunk 2077<\/i><\/a> gives its players an exceptional choice\u00a0of sniper rifles ranked from Iconic to Legendary. All of them have something different, but which is the best?<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Breakthrough \u2013 Iconic<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The Breakthrough is an Iconic Tech Weapon that fires armor-piercing bullets capable of breaking through concrete can also ricochet from certain surfaces. It\u2019s the perfect weapon for players that enjoy fighting their enemies as\u00a0guerilla-style tactics.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a weapon that can be crafted if V has the Edgerunner Artisan Perk activated but the boss from the Suspected Organized Crime Activity in Rancho Coronado needs to defeated and looted for the blueprints to create the Breakthrough.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>O\u2019Five \u2013 Iconic<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The O\u2019Five sniper rifle is an Iconic tier weapon that costs 12,000 Eurodollars and can be obtained by participating in the Arroyo boxing match and defeating Buck in the Beat on the Brat side quest. Protagonist V will also have to beat the rest of his gang in unarmed combat.<\/p>\n

Once Buck and his goons have been defeated, the O\u2019Five can be collected from the Barrel that it’s resting on. The O\u2019Five is a modified version of the Grad sniper rifle and his enough power to take down an AV. This is thanks to the fact that it shoots explosive projectiles and its bullets can also ricochet off surfaces and has a short attack time.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Overwatch \u2013 Iconic<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The Overwatch sniper rifle is an Iconic tier weapon<\/a> that is perfectly suited for players that like to take a stealthier approach. What makes this weapon special is that its Iconic perk adds the silencer but without any of the penalties to the gun\u2019s power.<\/p>\n

The best thing about this particular sniper rifle is that it can be obtained without spending a single Eurodollar. However, the player does need to complete the quest called Riders of the Storm in Panam once V has reached level 16.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Tsunami Nekomata Sniper Rifle \u2013 Legendary<\/h2>\n

The Tsunami Nekomata Tech sniper rifle is a Legendary tier weapon<\/a> that can be found early on in the game\u2019s story from the weapon seller at Northside in Watson. However, it\u2019s very expensive and will set V back 200,000 Eurodollars which can take some time to earn.<\/p>\n

The Nekomata is a very powerful weapon that can absolutely destroy enemies on the battlefield. However, the biggest downside to this weapon is the very slow fire rate and the need to charge each shot for it to reach its full potential.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>SPT32 Grad Power Sniper Rifle \u2013 Legendary<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The SPT32 Grad sniper rifle can be upgraded from a Rare to a Legendary tier making it a unique Power weapon that can be purchased from the weapons seller that can be found in Arroyo, Santo Domingo. It\u2019s incredibly powerful and offers a Headshot Damage Multiplier of 4.6 making it one of the most powerful guns in Cyberpunk 2077.<\/i><\/p>\n

In addition, the gun has four empty mod slots and comes with an HPO Mk.77 Kanone Max scope. It has 3x magnification for accuracy and has a fast and stable aim speed.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Ashura Smart Sniper Rifle \u2013 Legendary<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The Ashura sniper rifle is a Legendary Smart weapon that packs a serious punch. Being a Smart weapon the Ashura\u2019s self-guided micro-projectiles can home in on targets meaning that players can take down enemies from hiding spots and behind walls.<\/p>\n

Like the SPT32 Grad, the Ashura can offer up to a 4.6 Headshot Multiplier Damage and a standard scope. It also has 4 empty mode slots so players can additional scopes to improve on the basic one that comes with the gun. The biggest downside to the Ashura, however, is the hefty price tag which will set V back almost 250, 000 Eurodollars.<\/p>\n
