The upcoming patch is already known to include several new characters, as well as enemies and an entirely new region, but that hasn&#8217;t stopped miHoYo from unveiling even more details.<\/p>\n<p>In its latest news announcement, developer miHoYo revealed that another surprise feature would be coming to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/genshin-impact\"><em>Genshin Impact<\/em><\/a> with Version 1.2. Dubbed the &#8220;Stellar Reunion&#8221;, this new &#8220;event&#8221;\u00a0is essentially\u00a0aimed at enticing players who&#8217;ve stopped playing the game, namely\u00a0by offering a slew of free bonuses like Primogems.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/genshin-impact-crown-of-insight\/\">Genshin Impact: What Is the Crown of Insight?<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Well-informed Travelers may have already heard that Albedo and Ganyu would be joining the playable character roster with Version 1.2, but the update&#8217;s minor details continue to surface as release day, December 23, approaches. In fact, players\u00a0can even <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/genshin-impact-version-1-3-inazuma-weapons-leak\/\">get a glimpse\u00a0of\u00a0<em>Genshin Impact<\/em>\u00a0Version 1.3 weapons<\/a> already, thanks to recent leaks. Yet, it seems that there&#8217;s still much to learn about the upcoming Dragonspine region and its accompanying 1.2 update.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Stellar Reunion event will become a new staple of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/genshin-impact-zhongli-update-changes\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Genshin Impact<\/em> as of the game&#8217;s next update<\/a>, Version 1.2.\u00a0In short, Stellar Reunion\u00a0will become available to players who are at least Adventure Rank 10, and who\u00a0haven&#8217;t\u00a0logged\u00a0onto\u00a0the game for at least two weeks (14 consecutive days). Once unlocked, Stellar Reunion comprises four parts, each of which are aimed at getting the &#8220;Returnee&#8221; back up to speed with current\u00a0<em>Genshin Impact\u00a0<\/em>players.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GenshinImpact\/status\/1340869606722945024?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The four parts of Stellar Reunion are as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Reunion Rewards<\/strong>:\u00a0Travelers\u00a0will be able to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/genshin-impact-new-free-primogem-codes\/\">claim free Primogems<\/a>, Fragile Resin, and other rewards, a single time per Stellar Reunion<\/li>\n<li><strong>Passage of Time <\/strong>(login rewards): Travelers will be able to log in daily to claim Primogems, Fragile Resin, Hero&#8217;s Wit (EXP material), Mystic Enhancement Ore (Weapon EXP material), and other rewards<\/li>\n<li><strong>Homeward Path<\/strong> (quest rewards): Travelers will be able to accumulate points by completing designated quests on\u00a0each day of Stellar Reunion. Once enough points are accumulated, Travelers can claim a free four-star Prototype Rancour (sword). The quest list refreshes daily at 4:00 AM, and the bonus reward can only be claimed once per Stellar Reunion<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reunion Blessing<\/strong> (double drops):\u00a0 Every day of Stellar Reunion, Travelers will receive three additional <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/genshin-impact-best-use-original-resin\/\">opportunities to use Original Resin<\/a> to claim &#8220;double drops&#8221;\u00a0from a Domain, Blossom of Wealth,\u00a0or Blossom of Revelation. The amount of double drop opportunities refreshes daily at 4:00 AM<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>And finally,\u00a0once Stellar Reunion is completed by a player, the event&#8217;s progress is entirely cleared. This\u00a0indicates two important facts: first, that players must claim their Stellar Reunion rewards before the event is over, or they will lose the rewards. Second, and arguably more importantly, is that Stellar Reunion resets upon completion, indefinitely. In other words, players will be able to take on the Stellar Reunion event\u00a0every single time they stop playing the game for two weeks minimum &#8211; of course, there&#8217;s a caveat though. Stellar Reunion can only be activated once every 45 days.
