But <strong><em>Fall Guys<\/em><\/strong> has decided to start with the gift-giving early by releasing the latest addition to its <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fall-guys-ninja-skin-december-2020\/\">impressive collection of character skins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Few games have been leaning into the spirit of the season quite like <em>Fall Guys<\/em>. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fall-guys-season-3-levels-features\/\">Season 3 of <em>Fall Guys<\/em><\/a>, which started last week, is completely winter-themed and has added several new icy-themed stages and festive costumes to the goofy platformer battle royale. Given all that, it\u2019s no surprise that Devolver Digital and Mediatonic have decided to take things a step further with Christmas just four days away.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-go-2020-holiday-event-bonuses\/\">Pokemon GO Offering Multiple Bonuses During 2020 Holiday Event<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the big day on Friday, the two have released a fun little holiday special to hype up the game\u2019s latest skin. The live-action trailer features one of the titular bean-like guys going about his day and getting into appropriately holiday-themed trouble, culminating in him playing <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fall-guys\/\"><em>Fall Guys<\/em><\/a> with his friends. It\u2019s a pretty cute ad and hits all of the heartwarming notes one would expect from a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/charlie-brown-peanuts-holiday-specials-will-air-on-tv-after-all\/\">holiday special<\/a>, and with a lot of players being unable to celebrate Christmas normally thanks to the pandemic, that kind of feel-good entertainment is something a lot of people will appreciate.<\/p>\n<p>As for the skin itself, the new costume lets players deck their beans out in a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/resident-evil-3-remake-mod-nemesis-santa-claus\/\">full-on Santa Claus suit<\/a> and beard, which will fit in nicely with the rest of Season 3\u2019s festive skins. From now until December 25, players will be able to claim the costume from inside the game. Best of all, the skin is free, but players will have to act fast if they want to get their hands on it, since it will only be available this week.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WcHkrLImwe8\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;width:1280;height:720;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It goes without saying at this point that 2020 has been a very rough year for most people, what with a pandemic, political and social strife, next-gen scalpers, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/cd-projekt-red-lawsuit-cyberpunk-2077\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">disastrous launches for highly-anticipated games<\/a>. Still, during that time, gamers have found relief in many of the titles that came out amid all of this, and <em>Fall Guys<\/em> especially has provided plenty of the lighthearted laughs a lot of players have needed, along with some of the most enjoyable gameplay in 2020.
