Announced last week, <strong><i>Marvel Studios: Legends <\/i><\/strong>is a streaming show on Disney+ that &#8220;revisits some of the most iconic moments from the MCU, one character at a time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a class=\"bc-title-link\" title=\"Marvel Studios Announces Ironheart and Armor Wars, Two Iron Man Spinoff Shows on Disney+\" href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ironheart-armor-wars-disney-plus\/\">Marvel Studios Announces Ironheart and Armor Wars, Two Iron Man Spinoff Shows on Disney+<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The actual format of the show has yet to be officially revealed. Given the short time between its announcement and planned debut, however, it&#8217;s probably safe to assume that <i>Legends <\/i>will be what&#8217;s sometimes called a &#8220;clip show,&#8221; which edits together old footage and dialogue in a new package to create what&#8217;s nominally a new work.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MarvelStudios\/status\/1338846284015226881\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The first two episodes of <i>Legends <\/i>are said to be about Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), presumably as a setup for <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-posters-released-disney\/\">the forthcoming <i>WandaVision <\/i>Disney+ series<\/a>, which debuts exactly one week after <i>Legends<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Not much is currently known about the upcoming project. It would make sense if more episodes of <i>Legends <\/i>were planned to come out a week or two ahead of the next handful of series and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/every-mcu-movie-worst-best-ranked-rotten-tomatoes\/\">films in the MCU<\/a>, as a refresher or starting point, but nobody outside Disney knows for sure if that is going to happen. However, there is currently no real way to tell what the show will look like from what little Disney has said.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u00a0ended up being the first since 2009 to not have at least one new Marvel movie being released. <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/black-widow-movie-me-too-movement-scarlett-johansson\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i>Black Widow, <\/i>a prequel starring Scarlett Johannson<\/a> in what might be her last performance as Natasha Romanoff, is planned as the first installment in a new plot arc for the MCU. This will also include sequels to <i>Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, <\/i>and <i>Spider-Man<\/i>.
