It’s that special time of the year when work stops. Team VG247 is signing off for the rest of 2020 as we all take a well-earned holiday. We’ll return on January 4 with hope in our hearts of a better year than this one. Although, barring a last-minute miracle, the UK will have crashed into a hard Brexit, the stores will be barren and those of us living here will be eating tins of beans in makeshift tents across a ransacked land of despair. But at least we have video games!<\/p>\n

If you’re reading this you probably read most the content that we publish, but there’s plenty of seasonal content to peruse if you missed it. This includes our alternative game awards<\/a> starring a blocky penis; game of the year choices from me<\/a>, Alex<\/a>, James<\/a>, Lauren<\/a>, and Sherif<\/a>; and this very post.<\/p>\n

Everyone at VG247 wishes you a lovely Christmas. Have a much-needed break, eat some chocolates and mince pies, drink your favourite beverage, and maybe even play a video game or two. We’ve heard some of them are very good.<\/p>\n
