It’s hard to imagine someone who has been waiting for the PS5 to not grab the highly anticipated<\/a> remake of Demon’s Souls<\/em><\/strong> on the console. It has a fully remade adventure that has the extreme difficulty fans of the series will remember from the original. Watch out 2009\u00a0\u2014 it’s 2020 and Demon’s Souls<\/em><\/a> is better than ever!<\/p>\n

Players know they need to find the best weapons<\/a> to make taking down the brutal bosses in the game possible. Not to mention anyone hoping to destroy opponents in PVP needs the right tools for the job.<\/p>\n

The Meat Cleaver is a large hammer weapon. They are particularly good at taking on heavily armored enemies and will break guards, break shields,\u00a0and drain the enemy’s stamina. Large hammers have good range but players have to make sure they are prepared for their slow and heavy attacks so they don’t miss or get attacked while stuck in their attack animation.<\/p>\n

What makes the Meat Cleaver special is that it deals slashing damage despite being a hammer weapon. Each time it hits opponents it steals 1% of their HP as well, keeping the player healing as they deal damage. It’s quite durable and has two damage bonuses which make it even more useful.<\/p>\n

Blacksmith Ed won’t transform any items into unique weapons like the Meat Cleaver without first being given a Searing Demon Soul. The only way to get this soul is to defeat the Flamelurker, a boss that is located in The Tunnel City. Once that soul is given to Blacksmith Ed, players just have one more soul to track down.<\/p>\n

As the Meat Cleaver is the weapon of the Adjudicator, it requires its soul to be created. Players will have to go to the Island’s Edge and take down this boss to gain the Swollen Soul.
