The world of\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is full of things to do. The dense and rich Night City has a lot of opportunities for enterprising mercs to earn some street cred and eddies. One of these side jobs is provided in the Riders On The Storm questline.<\/p>\n

This job puts V, the player character, alongside the fan-favorite Panam, and sees you carry out a search and rescue. Along the way, you have a nice opportunity to romance, Panam, and there are some sweet rewards for the quest. So, here’s the complete guide to the best outcome in the Riders On The Storm quest, and of course, spoilers ahead.<\/p>\n

Riders On The Storm is a major side job. It unlocks the Panam quest tree and the All Along The Watchtower ending. To unlock this side job, you need to have completed the Life During Wartime main job. Once you have, you’ll receive a call from Panam asking to meet up at a camp. At this point, do NOT try to infiltrate the camp by yourself. It will fail the quest and lock you out of the entire Panam questline. Meet with Panam at the camp within 24 hours of in-game time to begin the quest.<\/p>\n

Once you receive the call, travel to the\u00a0Aldecaldos camp in the Outskirts, and meet up with Panam. Speak to her there and she will brief you on the job. Your mission will be to rescue Saul, a Nomad leader, held captive in the camp. After you talk, Mitch will give you the option to use his drone for recon. Try to get a general idea of the camp’s layout and plan an entry route. You’ll be required to scan 5 clues, which are a set of tire tracks, a truck, the building perimeter, the garage, and the building itself.<\/p>\n

Once the reconnaissance is done, Mitch will offer you a Spiked Superjet. Accept it, and then ride with Panam to the Raffen Shiv camp. If you intend to romance Panam, you have to take the option to\u00a0ride\u00a0with her every time.<\/p>\n

Also, note that you can only romance her if you chose a male character. Once you’re at the camp, there are a few ways to go about the rescue.<\/p>\n

One of the ways to rescue him is going in guns blazing. This does mean you’ll be picking a fight with almost the entirety of the compound. However, if you think you have sufficiently high-level gear<\/a> and are skilled enough, it’s not a bad option. It also makes the rescue part easier, since you more or less kill everyone who will accost you on your way back.<\/p>\n

If you want to avoid a full-on conflict, however, there are many ways to be stealthy throughout. If you have a high Tech skill. there is a drainpipe that opens into a ventilation system that you can unlock. You will find this pipe around the west side of the building. However, if you don’t have the skill, you can always infiltrate along the east side. This side of the camp has the least enemies, and the ones that are here can be eliminated or distracted easily enough.<\/p>\n

Once you are inside the camp, use Remote takeover, and hack the security footage to find Saul. When you find him, make your way over to where he’s held. There is a chest nearby that has the\u00a0Electric Baton Beta.<\/p>\n

Free him and then try to make your way back outside. If you cleared out everyone, then this shouldn’t be hard. If you have\u00a0the Tech skills, you can unlock a fence near Saul which leads you into the vents and outside, safely.<\/p>\n

Make your way out to Panam’s vehicle. If you were undetected till this point, you can escape safely. If not, there will be a car chase sequence<\/a>. Regardless, a storm will hit, which will force you to take shelter on a nearby farm. Reach this shelter with Panam and Saul, and take shelter there.<\/p>\n

You will reach and take shelter in Ingall’s Farm, with Saul and Panam. There will be a few small objectives that you have to do to restore power to the farm.\u00a0They are fairly straightforward, just follow the objective markers around the house.<\/p>\n

Once you’re done and inside, however, the fun part begins. This is your first opportunity to romance Panam.<\/p>\n

Once you’re inside sit on the couch next to Panam. Start the conversation with the option “Shitty idea, Panam’s right”<\/strong>. After that, choose the following options.<\/p>\n

  1. “To haboobs”\u00a0<\/strong>while raising a toast<\/li>\n
  2. “Pleased with your stay, ma’am?”<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. “You’d be more comfortable with your shoes off, ma’am”<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Now, you’ll have an option to show affection towards her, by touching her thigh. It doesn’t lead to anything here, but it opens up the option to romance her for later.<\/li>\n
  5. You can choose any options for here, till tomorrow morning.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The next morning, go outside and talk to her. She will give you your quest reward, her Overwatch sniper rifle. This signals the end of the quest. To continue the romance route<\/a>, take the following options in the conversation.<\/p>\n

    1. She will ask you about how your sleep was, answer with\u00a0“So-so, back’s numb”<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. “Thought you were\u00a0gonna stay with your family”<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. When she walks towards her bike, choose\u00a0“[Stop Panam] Wait, about last night…”<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      With all these steps, you’ll be on track to romance Panam or just get through the mission in a breeze.<\/p>\n
