Gal Gun Returns<\/em><\/strong>, the remaster of the original Japanese bish\u014djo rail shooter, has been canceled for Xbox platforms.<\/p>\n

For those unfamiliar, Gal Gun <\/em>is a game where the player takes on the role of Tenzou Motesugi, a sophomore at a Japanese high school who has been shot with several of Cupid\u2019s arrows and as a result is so attractive that he has to keep the entire female population of the high school at bay with \u201cpheromone arrows.\u201d The game originally released in 2011 and had a PS4 and Vita exclusive sequel released in 2015. Gal Gun<\/em> is being remastered in 2021 for its 10th anniversary with Gal Gun Returns<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>In a new post from the official Gal Gun <\/em>Twitter account, developer Inti Creates announced that the remaster will not be coming to Xbox platforms any longer. The post states that the final version of the game was already under review, and that the decision to cancel the Xbox versions of the game only came after \u201cproductive discussion with Microsoft.\u201d The post goes on to say that that discussion helped the studio realize that it would be \u201cunable to ensure consistency of experience across all platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n
