Dying Light 2<\/em><\/strong> developer Techland\u00a0teased an update on the development of the long-awaited sequel\u00a0to the popular zombie game. A new post on the company’s official Discord channel on Christmas Eve shared that fans of\u00a0Dying Light 2<\/a><\/em> will get more information in 2021.<\/p>\n

The post showed a picture of a character in the game standing and looking off into the distance while wearing a Santa Claus outfit and included a “Happy Holidays” sign. It was the caption that accompanied the illustration that got people’s attention. “Happy Holidays from the Dying Light<\/em> team,” a Techland employee wrote.\u00a0“We’ve been, er, dying to update you all on how development has been going. We’ll have fresh updates about Dying Light 2<\/em><\/a> coming in the new year!”<\/p>\n

However, beyond the promise of more information, Techland still didn’t provide much info. Dying Light 2<\/em> was originally scheduled for a 2020<\/a> release. In January of last year, Techland announced it had to delay the launch. It’s been almost a year now with no new date.<\/p>\n
