It goes without saying that\u00a0Fortnite<\/strong><\/em> is no stranger to leaks,<\/a> as it seems almost every other day a new feature is rumored to be coming to the popular free-to-play battle royale game. While some may consider leaks and rumors to be detrimental to a game’s success, others may argue that it helps build hype for what a game has next in store, and the continued success of Epic Games’ hit battle royale can be considered proof of just that.<\/p>\n

Fortnite<\/a><\/em> has allowed players to experiment with an enormous plethora of items over the years, from the typical pistols, shotguns, and assault rifles, to the more zany Pumpkin Launcher and Big Chill weapons. Despite the recent leaks of a strange Gnome Gunsand more,<\/a>\u00a0even more new information on weapons seems to have surfaced. On Twitter, popular and reliable\u00a0Fortnite<\/em> leaker HYPEX mentioned that it seems a new “Weapon Mod Slots” mechanic\u00a0is currently being tested by Epic Games’\u00a0Fortnite<\/em> development team.<\/p>\n
