However, one talented modder has developed a re-shade tool that gives the game a retro makeover in the style of one of the most influential video game franchises of all time.<\/p>\n

Cyberpunk 2077\u00a0<\/em>is obviously deeply rooted in the cyberpunk genre. While there have been many similar games that have tackled futuristic elements like Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>, many would argue that the original tabletop game that\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077\u00a0<\/em>was what led to the rise of the cyberpunk genre, with influential titles like\u00a0System Shock<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Deus Ex\u00a0<\/em>taking direct inspiration from it. With this in mind,\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077\u00a0<\/em>has cultivated an incredibly unique and memorable aesthetic.<\/p>\n

Though, on the topic of memorable aesthetics, one creative member of the modding community has found a way to splice the aesthetic of the classic\u00a0Doom\u00a0<\/em>games into\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>. The result is a re-shade of\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077\u00a0<\/em>that looks like it could have been released in 1993. For those who enjoy the retro aesthetic of classic Doom<\/em> levels<\/a>, this will certainly be a fun thing to try out.<\/p>\n

Over the years, the classic\u00a0Doom\u00a0<\/em>aesthetic has started to rapidly grow in popularity, largely due to the release of the newer\u00a0Doom\u00a0<\/em>titles, such as\u00a0Doom (2016)\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Doom Eternal<\/em>. All over the internet, users have begun to make so many unique creations using the\u00a0Doom\u00a0<\/em>aesthetic. One individual actually managed to recreate the infamous PT demo using the classic Doom<\/em> engine<\/a>. In a lot of ways, this re-shade has the potential to make this game feel more in line with the ambiance and atmosphere of the original\u00a0Cyberpunk\u00a0<\/em>tabletop game.<\/p>\n

Honestly,\u00a0a lot can go wrong in\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077<\/em><\/a>, what with the cacophony of visual glitches, performance issues, and bugs reported since launch. This has led to an outcry of negativity among\u00a0many players, but it is important to note that these are technical issues that can be fixed with enough time. Considering the amount of hotfixes that CD Projekt Red has put out for\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077\u00a0<\/em>already, it does seem like the studio cares about making this game right for everyone.<\/p>\n

Even with its large amount of performance issues, many people have still gotten a lot of enjoyment out of this game. A large number of fans have celebrated this game via fanart, cosplay, and mods like this one. In fact, one modder actually remade Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> to look like a PS1 game<\/a>. With any luck, these technical issues will be resolved soon so players can enjoy the experience to its fullest.<\/p>\n

Cyberpunk 2077\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X\/S versions currently in development.<\/p>\n
