Recently, fans seemingly <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-season-6-new-character-valk-ash-titanfall-abilities-recon-tank\/\">resurrected the simulacrum Ash<\/a>, last seen as a boss character in <em>Titanfall 2, <\/em>while villain\u00a0Kuben Blisk is the\u00a0founder and organizer of these Apex Games.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to lore and characters, <em>Apex Legends<\/em> fans are also waiting for certain mechanics from <em>Titanfall<\/em> to make their way over to this popular battle royale as well. While Respawn has already <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-no-adding-titans\/\">shot down the idea of bringing Titans into the game<\/a> due to throwing the balance off, fans have constantly requested another popular <em>Titanfall<\/em> staple. Wall running is a major component of Titanfall&#8217;s fast paced mobility, though it&#8217;s curiously absent in <em>Apex Legends<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-season-8-damage-tracker\/\">Apex Legends Season 8 Adding Highly-Requested Feature<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Respawn recently confirmed that it has no plans to add the mechanic into <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/apex-legends\/\"><em>Apex Legends<\/em><\/a>, though that hasn&#8217;t stopped players from attempting to add their own bit of creativity when it comes to getting around the game&#8217;s world. The closest players will get to this movement is going to be with the speedy character Octane thanks to his unique ability to drop a launch pad, which seems to have unintended effects on the game when used in a certain way.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/apexuniversity\/comments\/knxeav\/is_this_a_bug_or_intended_possible_wall_running\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=web2x&#038;context=3\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Reddit user zZsr56zZ used Octane&#8217;s launch pad on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/apex-legends-trailer-reveals-olympus-and-vehicles\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the new Olympus map<\/a> in an area near the gardens. Here, there&#8217;s a massive Hammond Electronics billboard that can be used to simulate wall running. After dropping a launch pad and flying along the side at the sign while using a Stim causes the character to seemingly run along the massive billboard at high speeds. Clearly, this is a bug however as Octane drops like a rock once he reaches the end of the billboard, but it&#8217;s still an interesting look at what a feature like wall running could add to the game.<\/p>\n<p>This glitch is pretty similar to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-octane-walk-on-air-trick-how\/\">another recently found unofficial Octane ability<\/a> just from a few days ago. While standing under a bridge, a player throws a launch pad at the edge of the ledge they&#8217;re standing on to fling themselves at the underside of the bridge.
