Prominent streamers like Corpse Husband, Myth, Pokimane, Shroud, Sykkuno, and xQc have played on the server for nearly a week, and there has been no shortage of drama. After only a day on the server, famous <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/shroud-xqc-rust-server-implode-prediction\/\">Twitch streamer Shroud predicted the server would implode<\/a> because of xQc.<\/p>\n<p>Shroud seems to have been right, as just last night, founder of the OfflineTV <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/rust\/\"><em>Rust<\/em><\/a> server BaboAbe announced in a Tweet that he will be creating a new <em>Rust<\/em> server on January 7. BaboAbe also wrote, &#8220;We&#8217;re not going to have as many people this time around and mainly focus on RP with some incentivized PvP.&#8221; The announcement comes after several clashes between streamers, mainly Canadian streamer xQc.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokimane-quits-offlinetv-rust-server\/\">Pokimane Quits OfflineTV Rust Server<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Many of the streamers are new to <em>Rust<\/em> and enjoy games casually, but that has not stopped xQc from enjoying the game in his way, which involves taking hostages, raiding bases, and gunning down opponents. However, his actions have been seen as problematic by other streamers. XQc has gotten into verbal clashes with several streamers, including <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/myth-xqc-twitch-stream-sniping-allegations-response\/\">accusing Myth of stream sniping<\/a>, which was quickly shot down with video proof from Myth and a few expletives.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BaboAbe\/status\/1344885387102191616\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>XQc is incredibly competitive, but his attacks in <em>Rust<\/em> may have gone too far. XQc got into an argument with Twitch streamer Ash, which led to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/twitch-ash-xqc-death-threats-rust-offlinetv\/\">Ash receiving death threats and harassment from apparent xQc fans<\/a>.\u00a0While xQc&#8217;s base raids and ambushes in the <em>Rust<\/em> server may annoy other streamers, his verbal alteraction leading to death threats is harmful. XQc has since issued an apology on Twitter saying his competitiveness overwhelmed him and he was rude to non-PvPers.<\/p>\n<p>Before OfflineTV&#8217;s decision to split the servers, Shroud believed that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/rust-shroud-offline-tv-xqc\/\">xQc and his team dubbed &#8220;Team Rocket&#8221; should be kicked from the server<\/a> for killing random people constantly. Shroud says, &#8220;If I was server admin, I would kick them all, like that. It&#8217;s making me low-key mad.&#8221; XQc was not kicked from the server, but the new server will most likely not invite him.<\/p>\n<p>XQc has been involved in a number of controversies this past year. Earlier in the year, the Twitch streamer was banned for streaming an inappropriate game, and recently was suspended for stream sniping Dr Lupo, Shroud, and Tyler1 at the Twitch Rivals <em>Fall Guys<\/em> event. The Canadian streamer most recently<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/twitter-suspended-xqc-for-using-a-clip-from-his-own-stream\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> received a DMCA takedown and a temporary Twitter suspension<\/a> for one of his clips from a year ago. XQc is no stranger to drama, but his actions in the <em>Rust<\/em> server have rubbed some streamers the wrong way. Valkyrae has been subject to harassment during her <em>Rust<\/em> stream and has even threatened to shut down the server due to the toxic interactions.
