It\u2019s time for Apex Legends <\/em><\/strong>competitors to start working on their jab, because the Fight Night Collection Event will be hitting servers soon, according to developer Respawn\u2019s latest trailer. Fans of the Apex Games can look forward to a slew of new content and gameplay updates, including Pathfinder\u2019s slap-happy Town Takeover, a mountain of new cosmetics available for the taking, and the game\u2019s first \u201ctakeover\u201d model for limited time modes.<\/p>\n

Respawn unveiled the brand-new trailer for its Fight Night Collection Event, giving its\u00a0community a longer look at the incoming cosmetics, game modes, and features heading to the high-pace battle royale. The major content additions headed to Apex Legends<\/a> <\/em>includes the Airdrop Escalation Takeover, Pathfinder Town Takeover, newly activated loot MRVNs, and a line of limited-time cosmetics featuring 24 themed items available for purchase.<\/p>\n

Airdrop Escalation Takeover<\/strong><\/p>\n

The latest update will introduce Respawn\u2019s new approach to limited time modes (LTM)<\/a> with the launch of the Airdrop Escalation Takeover. Instead of having its own dedicated playlist like previous LTMs, Airdrop Escalation will \u201ctakeover\u201d the normal \u201cPlay Apex\u201d game mode. The takeover follows the same rules as a typical Apex Legends<\/em> match, except the map will be bombarded with supply drops containing progressively high rarities of loot as the ring closes in.<\/p>\n

Pathfinder\u2019s Town Takeover<\/strong><\/p>\n

Similar to Bloodhound\u2019s Season 4 Town Takeover<\/a>, Pathfinder is receiving their own Town Takeover set in Olympus. As the Apex Legends<\/em>\u2019 resident boxing enthusiast, it is only natural that Pathfinder\u2019s Town Takeover features a combat arena that prohibits a legend\u2019s weapons and abilities upon entry. Loot balls fill the ring, ensuring great loadouts to squads leaving the ring victorious. There is also no need to worry about outside interference \u2013 a force field surrounding the ring protects all combatants from outside projectiles, grenades, and abilities.<\/p>\n
