While The Outer Worlds<\/em><\/a> might be an excellent game in its own right, there’s one more title made by Obsidian Entertainment that truly put the studio on the map as one of the greatest RPG developers around…<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Fallout: New Vegas<\/h2>\n

Fallout: New Vegas<\/a> <\/em>didn’t receive the greatest reception upon its release. Gamers were more than displeased with the immense amount of bugs in this title, which ultimately served as a detractor to the overall experience in the worst way possible.<\/p>\n

It’s a shame, since\u00a0Vampire: The Masquerade \u2014 Bloodlines<\/em> is genuinely an excellent RPG featuring some of the smartest writing ever seen in a video game. Any issues that the game might have launched with have been largely patched by fans, making for an experience that pretty much no one should miss out on.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>System Shock 2<\/h2>\n

A pioneer of immersive sims and a standout title in its own right, any person who’s a fan of cyberpunk narratives should definitely try out System Shock 2<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

It certainly helps that the game itself is a blast to play through, making the gradual lore reveals even all the more rewarding as a result.<\/p>\n

Before the massive success of the Dragon Age<\/em> and Mass Effect<\/em><\/a> series, BioWare tried its hands out with other IPs as well. In this regard, Jade Empire<\/em><\/a> is a hidden gem from this studio that most people should try out.<\/p>\n
