They are among the most massive and authoritative characters in\u00a0Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.<\/em><\/p>\n

10 <\/span>Bowser Jr.<\/h2>\n

Bowser Jr. has been a significant figure in Nintendo ever since his debut appearance in Super Mario Sunshine.<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>This playable fighter is the son of Bowser, one of the other heavyweight characters. With a weight comparable to Samus, Bowser Jr. is a lower-tier character in the game.<\/a> His moves are slow, but that won’t stop many players from liking this fierce character. Bowser Jr.’s run speed is slow, but his air speed and fall speed are fast.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>King Dedede<\/h2>\n

This lesser-known Nintendo character was introduced in the Kirby<\/em> video game series. King Dedede is characterized as a blue bird with human clothing. He wields a giant wooden mallet, which he uses to defeat foes.<\/p>\n

Wario is one of the few characters whose fighting power is accurate. Depicted as an overweight Nintendo character, Wario is the opposite of Mario in many ways. To make things a little fairer, Wario can drive a motorcycle in a match, which he uses to drive into enemies.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>Samus<\/h2>\n

Samus Aran made his first\u00a0Super Smash Bros.<\/em>\u00a0appearance in the original\u00a0Super Smash Bros.<\/em> for Nintendo 64<\/a>. This character has stood the test of time, as her ranged attacks infuriate those on the receiving end.<\/p>\n

While Zero Suit Samus is one of the game’s lightweight characters, Samus Aran with armor is one of the game’s heavyweights. Samus works exceptionally well on team-based battles, and 1v1, she isn’t bad either.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Ganondorf<\/h2>\n

Debuting\u00a0in The Legend of Zelda<\/a> (1986)<\/em> as Ganon, Ganondorf first became a part of the Smash<\/em> universe\u00a0in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em> contains the most comprehensive roster list, and it wouldn’t be complete without this treacherous Nintendo villain<\/a>. Ganondorf’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em> appearance features a Greatsword frequently seen in The Legend of Zelda<\/em> series. This design has been reworked to pay homage to\u00a0early versions of\u00a0the character.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Incineroar<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Incineroar comes from the Pok\u00e9mon<\/em><\/a> universe, debuting in the\u00a0explosively popular generation\u00a0of\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Sun and Moon.\u00a0<\/em>This dual-type Dark and Fire<\/a> has the appearance of a fighting Pok\u00e9mon, which could be why Incineroar fits so well in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em>. One can unlock Incineroar by playing Classic Mode, the World of Light Adventure, or in versus mode. As a Smash<\/em> fighter and Pok\u00e9mon, Incineroar is a heavyweight with the potential to win matches.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Charizard (Pok\u00e9mon Trainer)<\/h2>\n

Not falling far from the apple tree, Charizard is another heavyweight Fire-type Pok\u00e9mon that can scorch its victims.<\/a> Considering that Charizard is so large, it comes as a surprise that it is one of the fastest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em> characters. Incineroar may have the fighting moves, but Charizard’s diverse move set will keep opposing players guessing. He used to be a standalone character, but Charizard is now used as a part of the Pok\u00e9mon Trainer’s<\/em> lineup.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Donkey Kong<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Donkey Kong (also known as DK) is a gorilla that comes from Donkey Kong Island. As the\u00a0titular character of his game series,<\/a> Donkey Kong is a heavyweight and one of the most powerful fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Donkey Kong is a force to be reckoned with moves like Giant Punch and Hand Slap. He even brings a new Final Smash named Jungle Rush, replacing the less effective Konga Beat move. His noticeable buffs made him a top tier heavyweight\u00a0Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em>\u00a0character.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>King K. Rool<\/h2>\n

When players first heard that the elusive villain from the\u00a0Donkey Kong<\/a> s<\/em>eries joined the roster, they were thrown for a loop. With moves like Blunderbuss, Propellerpack, and Gut Check, King K. Rool has a forceful move set. The amount of power\u00a0he can unleash makes him one of\u00a0Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’<\/em>s most dominant characters. He might not be the strongest pound for pound, but 1v1, he is an authoritative opponent.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Bowser<\/h2>\n

While his rival Mario has a\u00a0tinier appearance and more intricate fighting style, Bowser uses brute force to take down opponents<\/a>. Contrary to popular belief, Bowser is based on a fictional race of turtles and not a dragon. This fire-breathing\u00a0Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em>\u00a0fighter is faced at Mushroom Kingdom U before unlocking him. Bowser is the heaviest fighter in the game, even though he is agile on his feet. The ground shakes when he strikes the floor. Given his mass, many of Bowser’s moves are inescapable.<\/p>\n
