Production of the original Game Boy by Nintendo<\/a> may have ceased in 2003, but that hasn\u2019t stopped game developers from continuing to create games for the 8-bit handheld console. In 2019, indie developer -IZMA- released the digital version of the his original Game Boy title Deadeus<\/em><\/strong> on the gaming site itch.io.<\/p>\n

However, quite a few gamers undoubtedly still have an original Game Boy<\/a> console, whether stored in a box or proudly displayed on a shelf, and now there is a reason to dust it off. On January 5, -IZMA- and publisher Spacebot Interactive announced that the physical version of Deadeus <\/em>for the original Game Boy is now available for preorder through February 15.<\/p>\n

A top-down horror adventure game, Deadeus <\/em>follows the story of a small boy who has a prophetic nightmare warning him that everyone will die in three days. It\u2019s up to him to investigate his village and find a way to save them if he can. The game features 11 different endings, leaving it up to the player to decide the best course of action and paving the way for multiple playthroughs.<\/p>\n
