For players looking for a good RPG fix to keep them going until Dragon Age 4<\/em> releases, there is a number of titles that will do the trick.<\/p>\n

While the Nier<\/em><\/a> series is far removed from the likes of dragons and magical beasts, the franchise offers more than one great RPG that offers brilliant story-driven gameplay in a large open area that is just waiting to be explored. The games also have a knack for having a deep plotline than players first assume, and those who play the games to the fullest get the best experience.<\/p>\n

They are very similar in many aspects, such as gameplay, features, and the focus on the plot<\/a> and characters, however, instead of a fantastical setting, it\u00a0offers fans a sci-fi adventure.<\/p>\n

The series is set to be re-released soon in the form of the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition<\/em>, offering fans a great opportunity to get re-acquainted with the series or to experience it for the first time.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Divinity Original Sin Series<\/h2>\n

The Divinity Original Sin<\/em> <\/a>series has two titles to its name, though the first of these was set as a prequel to the 2002 game\u00a0Divine Divinit<\/em>y. The player becomes the Arisen, the chosen one tasked with defeating the dragon Grigori.<\/p>\n

The game was highly praised on release and its popularity has grown so much that Netflix released an animated Dragon’s Dogma<\/em> series. This fantastical RPG is perfect for fans of Dragon Age<\/em>, offering up familiar gameplay while adding its own unique mechanics such as the pawn system and the ability to hold onto enemies in flight.<\/p>\n
