The\u00a0Destiny 2<\/strong><\/em> Trials of Osiris are back this weekend, giving players the chance to compete in extra-competitive Crucible matches in exchange for unique rewards. As usual, the\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em><\/a> Trials of Osiris this week changes up the map that the matches take place on, as well as the rewards that players can get for participating.\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em> players can earn rewards in the Trials of Osiris for their number of wins, as well as one for winning seven matches in a row.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em> Trials of Osiris this week takes place on the Dead Cliffs map.\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em>‘s Dead Cliffs map was one of the original maps for the game, and takes place in the European Dead Zone<\/a> (EDZ) on Earth. Since the Dead Cliffs map has been available in\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em> since the beginning, longtime fans of the game should be plenty familiar with it by now, and that should give them somewhat of an advantage against newer players when participating in the Trials of Osiris this weekend.<\/p>\n

Those that participate in the\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em> Trials of Osiris this week and manage to rack up three wins will Exile leg armor for Hunter, Warlock, or Titan classes. Five wins will unlock The Summoner, a legendary-tier Solar Auto Rifle. Seven wins in the Trials of Osiris, meanwhile, will unlock an Exile Cloak, Bond, or Mark for Hunter, Warlock, or Titans. The grandest prize, however, is reserved for those who manage to complete a\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em> Trials of Osiris Flawless run<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If players manage to go Flawless in the\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em> Trials of Osiris this weekend by winning seven matches in a row, they will be able to add the Eye of Sol Kinetic Sniper Rifle to their arsenal. What’s more is that the Eye of Sol includes the Charge Time Adept Mod<\/a>, making it even more powerful than usual.<\/p>\n

The Trials of Osiris in\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em> have had a somewhat rough time since the launch of the\u00a0Beyond Light<\/em> expansion<\/a>. Bungie’s initial attempt to bring the Trials of Osiris back to\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em> were postponed thanks to some bugs that players could exploit in the game for serious unfair advantages. And then when the Trials of Osiris did come back, another\u00a0bug was messing with the game’s Flawless rewards.<\/p>\n

The Trials of Osiris were popular in the original\u00a0Destiny<\/em> and have proven to be popular since their return during\u00a0Destiny 2<\/em>‘s Season of the Worthy<\/a>. Fans can expect the Trials of Osiris to continue returning to the game pretty much every weekend moving forward, barring any unforeseen technical issues or other problems.<\/p>\n

Destiny 2<\/strong><\/em> is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.<\/p>\n
