However, one <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/overwatch\/\"><em>Overwatch<\/em><\/a> cosplayer decided to bring a different character to life, focusing their skills on making a Junkrat costume.<\/p>\n<p>Known for a love of thievery and explosions, Junkrat is one of <em>Overwatch<\/em>\u2019s more interesting damage heroes. Able to trap opponents, wreak havoc in hallways, and decimate entire teams with his RIP-tire, the character has always been an effective source of DPS in certain situations. However, a recent cosplay proves that Junkrat would be just as imposing in real life as he is in-game, as cosplayer Valentino \u201cImriel\u201d Notari brought <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-junkrat-steel-trap-mei-cryo-freeze\/\">Mei\u2019s crazed hero counter<\/a> to life.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-reaper-hellspawn-cosplay\/\">Overwatch Fan Shows Off Incredible Reaper Hellspawn Cosplay<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>An experienced cosplayer that has dressed up as <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/star-wars-jedi-fallen-order-2-cal-kestis-character-arc\/\">Cal Kestis from <em>Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order<\/em><\/a> as well as Insomniac\u2019s version of <em>Spider-Man<\/em>, it is hardly a surprise that Notari nailed his take on Junkrat. Boasting Junkrat\u2019s singed legs and head, as well as the character\u2019s over-the-top eyebrows and hairstyle, the cosplay is an excellent portrayal of Junkrat. Every detail is realized in the outfit, with contact lenses used to capture Junkrat\u2019s fiery eyes and the hero\u2019s iconic prosthetic leg being worn by Notari.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Overwatch\/comments\/kqgb5c\/cosplay_junkrat_cosplay_hi_guys_how_are_you\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=mweb\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While Junkrat looks even better in this cosplay than he does in <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-fan-made-realistic-hero-portraits\/\">his realistic <em>Overwatch<\/em> portrait<\/a>, his weapons are also brought to life in a believable way. Junkrat\u2019s RIP-Tire can be seen attached to the cosplayer\u2019s back, while Notari holds Junkrat\u2019s grenade launcher in his hand as well. Intricate, metalic-looking ammunition belts can be seen draped on the explosive-lover\u2019s shoulders, completing Junkrat\u2019s excellent transition from a video game to reality.<\/p>\n<p>However, something setting this Junkrat costume apart from <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-mercy-cosplay-zibartas\/\">other great <em>Overwatch<\/em> cosplays<\/a> is its editing. Not only did Notari pose for the image in his Junkrat outfit, but Axel Nova Photography touched up the photo to make an explosion go off behind the character. Adding an extra layer of creativity to the cosplay that helps set it apart from other Junkrat showcases, the edited photo depicts a setting that is truly fitting of the hero. Looking like a poster for a Michael Bay movie, the cosplay\u2019s overall quality is truly incredible, and it is hard to not want a live action <em>Overwatch<\/em> short when glancing at the image.<\/p>\n<p>Both Valentino Notari and Axel Nova nailed the design, with the duo coming together to create something that should make every Junkrat fan smile.
