The inconsistency of Cyberpunk 2077<\/strong><\/em> has been one many gamers have honed in on since the launch of the game. From tons of content being cut before launch<\/a> to the overwhelmingly poor last-gen console experience, the Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> community is split between appreciating the game for what it is and demanding it be fixed and the content restored.<\/p>\n

Since its release, Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> has seen a host of mods from the community designed to improve the player experience, or at the very least, make it extremely entertaining.<\/a>\u00a0While some player mods are gimmicky and not meant to be utilized for long periods of time, others set out to genuinely improve and enhance the Night City experience.\u00a0A\u00a0Redditor, one of many gamers who had anticipated the game for years, took it upon\u00a0themselves to take it to that next level.<\/p>\n

Reddit user Nexen4, a video editor and engineer, had the awesome idea to utilize a program called VORPX to convert Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>‘s visuals to VR. Faithful followers of the game will recall that CDPR addressed some issues with implementing VR into Night City, even receiving a full dev-kit, but\u00a0eventually, the company\u00a0decided to cut it out entirely<\/a>. Nexen4 fully intends to preserve the immersiveness of Night City with this mod, which promises players a ground-level view of Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Utilizing VORPX isn’t the only part of Nexen4’s elaborate Cyberpunk 2077<\/em><\/a> setup. The Reddit user further revealed in an exchange with\u00a0other\u00a0Redditors that\u00a0they’re\u00a0also producing a VR locomotion device, preemptively titled “the VR chair.” Although\u00a0they mention that the device is missing its back portion, it’s clear that Nexen is enjoying finally getting a chance to play the game the way it was intended.<\/p>\n
