While 2021 has a number of highly anticipated games set to launch throughout the next 12 months, IO Interactive is kicking things off with Hitman 3<\/em><\/strong>. As the third and final installment of the World of Assassination trilogy of games, players once again step into the legendary shoes of Agent 47 as he travels around the globe to put a stop to the mysterious group known as Providence<\/a>. Gameplay continues to revolve around stealth and using the environment to perform hidden executions against certain targets.<\/p>\n

Replayability continues to be a major element to Hitman 3<\/em>, as each stage has multiple ways to eliminate a target with new opportunities being uncovered simply by exploring. IO interactive has also confirmed the existence of secret shortcuts hidden in each level<\/a>. Finding these ladders, doors, and other pathways will be up to the player and can lead to new opportunities to complete the mission at hand. Better yet, once a shortcut has been found and opened, it will remain that way on repeated playthroughs to allow players to try different tactics and reward curiosity.<\/p>\n

As with most big name games these days, Hitman 3<\/em><\/a> has multiple special editions as well as a pre-order bonus for those who opt to put money down before launch. Here’s everything players need to know about each edition and what they get.<\/p>\n

For those who want to reserve their copy, IO interactive is offering the pre-order bonus called the Trinity Pack. It features three outfits for Agent 47 each of a different color of Red, White, and Black. The stylish single color suits also come with a matching colored briefcase and weapon as well to complete the look.\u00a0The suits represent a different game from the trilogy with White for Hitman<\/em>, Red for Hitman 2<\/em>, and Black for Hitman 3<\/em>. Each of the items also feature the classic Hitman insignia etched in gold as well.<\/p>\n

Similar to other cross-generation games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla<\/em> or Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>, Hitman 3<\/em> also supports a free upgrade to a next generation version<\/a>. So for instance, if someone buys the game on a PlayStation 4, they can download the PS5 version at no additional cost. This is true for Xbox players as well, as Hitman<\/em> uses the Smart Delivery system so Xbox One purchases will also get the next-generation version for free.<\/p>\n

IO Interactive is introducing two different versions of Hitman 3<\/em>.\u00a0Interested players can pick from the standard version of the game as well as a Deluxe Edition which is a little more expensive though it comes with a collection of additional in-game content to utilize.<\/p>\n

Hitman 3<\/em> is also coming to the Nintendo Switch, though its release date is still to be determined and isn’t available for pre-order quite yet. The Switch is getting the Cloud Version<\/a>, which indicates that this version is not only digital but is available through cloud streaming. Players will need to ensure they have a very strong WIFI connection for the best results.<\/p>\n

At launch, Hitman 3<\/em> is also an Epic Games Store exclusive that will eventually come to Steam. Thankfully, players will be able to transfer their data and progress over once the Steam version becomes available.<\/p>\n

The Standard Edition comes with just the game as well as the Trinity Pack pre-order bonuses prior to release. After that, it’s just the game.<\/p>\n
