Earlier this week, Activision Blizzard games were pulled from the Nvidia GeForce Now\u00a0streaming platform, and now we know why it happened.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n According to Bloomberg<\/a>, the games were taken off Nvidia GeForce Now<\/strong> due to a request from Activision Blizzard<\/a>. Apparently, the two companies never signed a formal commercial agreement for the games to be available on the service (thanks, resetera<\/a>).<\/p>\n Nvidia said it was all a “misunderstanding” as it thought Activision’s participation in the service’s beta extended to the current trial period for founding members.<\/p>\n \u201cActivision Blizzard has been a fantastic partner during the GeForce Now beta, which we took to include the free trial period for our founders membership,\u201d said Nvidia.<\/p>\n \u201cRecognizing the misunderstanding, we removed their games from our service, with the hope we can work with them to re-enable these, and more, in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
