The duo reckons that GatorCheats could be liable to pay damages to the tune of &ldquo;millions of dollars.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The hacks are sold for a subscription of $90 per month, or users can buy lifetime access for $500. Cheats include aimbots &ndash; which automatically aim for players &ndash; as well as other exploits that give users an advantage, like being able to see information about competitors.<\/p>\n<p>In the past, Bungie has sent GatorCheats a cease and desist notice. The company responded by informing its users that it would stop selling cheats, but it would continue to support the exploits it had already shifted &ndash; perhaps to avoid lawsuits and other flak from unhappy customers.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to Polygon, Riot said: &ldquo;Cheating undermines a game&rsquo;s competitive integrity and erodes community trust. Riot is wholly committed to upholding these values for its players, so when we become aware of a cheat maker, you bet we&rsquo;re going to go after them.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Riot launched its online shooter Valorant in April 2020. This new game came with the anti-cheat system Vanguard, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/04\/15\/valorant-vanguard-anti-cheat-always-on\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">apparently had to be active all the time<\/a> on users&rsquo; PC, but also ended up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/04\/28\/valorant-anti-cheat\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">blocking some legitimate apps<\/a>.
