In a post detailing the new update for Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/strong>, Raven reveals that the DMR has been nerfed again. With the new, major changes being far more impactful than the previous alterations to the rifle, Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> <\/a>players should finally be seeing an end to the gun\u2019s dominance.<\/p>\n

The previous DMR nerf<\/a> was quickly followed by players sharing their disappointment, as changes were only made to the weapon\u2019s headshot damage as opposed to its larger issues. With an absurd damage output, insane accuracy, and a fast fire rate, the weapon quickly became the only viable gun in the popular battle royale game. Fortunately, players should no longer be getting melted in seconds, as the DMR\u2019s viability has been heavily reduced.<\/p>\n

In a set of patch notes likely to please DMR critic NICKMERCS<\/a>, the gun has seen changes to nearly all of its stats. It seems that the reason the weapon’s broken damage was tied to its bullet penetration stat, as the tactical rifle was set to deal sniper rifle damage instead of outputting stats similar to an assault rifle. This has since been changed, with the fix being only the tip of the iceberg. The weapon now has major damage falloff, dropping the weapon\u2019s effectiveness at range \u201c70% from 2500 units.\u201d<\/p>\n
