The event began with a fast montage of some of the most legendary scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe; beginning with a clip from Marvel Studios\u2019 first movie\u00a0<em>Iron Man<\/em>\u00a0and ended with Tony Stark\u2019s iconic snap. The montage changed its pace, switching to show a brief cinematic history of the show\u2019s titular characters Wanda Maximoff and Vision.<\/p>\n<p>The event was quick to launch into action. After a few brief comments from President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige, who referred to the show as \u201cthe perfect <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/kevin-feige-marvel-heroes-films-disney-plus-shows\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">introduction to the MCU on Disney Plus<\/a>\u201d and showed off his WandaVision cap, the focus went straight to the main actors Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. Roch\u00e9 was careful to not press for spoilers\u00a0as she is familiar with Marvel&#8217;s strict policy. Instead, she hosted a casual and fun conversation with the cast members. She bounced between her own questions and submitted questions from the online community. Starting off easy, she asked Olsen to describe the new season in three words, to which the Maximoff actor said, \u201cWild, magic, and love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-early-reviews-weird-hilarious\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8216;Weird and Hilarious&#8217; WandaVision Is Off To A Great Start With Early Reviews<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The thirty-minute event had a few technical difficulties and found itself offline for a few minutes, but after it got back online, there were tons of more pleasant surprises. Joining the group were two more <em>WandaVision<\/em> actors, Teyonah Parris and Kathryn Hahn. Parris who plays Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Captain Marvel\u2019s Maria Rambeau, expressed her admiration for the production team calling her experience \u201cdope\u201d and \u201cfun.\u201d Then <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/wandavision-kathryn-hahn-interview\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hahn, who plays a noisy neighbor<\/a> to the couple, shared what her personal \u201cwell-meaning but possibly strange tasting\u201d Welcome to the Neighborhood casserole would be, a classic Ohian Green Bean Casserole.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/disneyplus\/status\/1349763440261255169\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Returning Marvel actors Kat Dennings and Randall Park popped in briefly, teasing the show\u2019s relevance and giving a few more details than the others. Dennings described the show as unique and said fans will be excited to see her character \u201coutside of the world of Thor.\u201d She referred to the upcoming series as \u201csomething that everybody\u2019s been waiting for\u201d and many of the cast members agreed that it was going to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-unbelievable-actor-unknown\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">expand the cinematic universe greatly<\/a>\u2014 whether they are referring to an expansion of the MCU plot or the studios\u2019 traditional genre remains uncertain, along with the role that these returning characters will play in the new series. Park said that his character\u00a0still has\u00a0his quirks and hobbies (expect some card tricks), and then dropped a small teaser, saying that this series will expand the cinematic universe by a \u201cten-fold.\u201d Dennings added a few things about Darcy\u2019s return saying that Darcy has \u201clearned how to be a boss\u201d and comes to the <em>WandaVision<\/em> world under \u201csome unusual circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The last nine minutes of the event came as a huge surprise to all of the viewers. Three seasoned Marvel actors made a short cameo, poking fun at the actors and their new project. Loki\u2019s Tom Hiddleston, the Falcon\u2019s Anthony Mackie, and Dr. Strange\u2019s Benedict Cumberbatch showed up to ask trick questions to the <em>WandaVision<\/em> crew. \u201cTom H. from the UK\u201d accused Bettany of copying his characters, calling Vision\u2019s unexpected return as \u201ckind of a Loki thing.\u201d Then \u201cAnthony M.\u201d came on, asking them what makes him their favorite Marvel character. Bettany deadpanned \u201chis humility\u201d and Olsen told him to \u201csit down\u201d because he\u2019s not in this show. And lastly, \u201cBen in London\u201d commented, \u201cIt looks like you\u2019re jumping through time but we just did that\u201d before trailing off. He returned to ramble\u00a0for 30 seconds about how fantastic they two are and encouraged fans to \u201cnot stop watching tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cxptainloki\/status\/1349773673809530891?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, this virtual launch was lively and loaded with little Easter eggs and surprises. For the final round of comments, Roch\u00e9 asked the remaining cast members to share a last thought on what they are most excited for their fans to see. Kahn said she is ready to see fans\u2019 have their \u201cminds be blown wide open in ways you can\u2019t possibly imagine\u201d and Parris agreed, encouraging people to \u201cget their Twitter fingers ready\u201d and watch with a strong drink.
