The limited stock of Sony’s new\u00a0PS5<\/strong> console has made it fairly hard for players looking to get their hands on next-gen titles and hardware since the system launched. However, fans may have a chance\u00a0at\u00a0a limited stock of PS5s<\/a> on January 15 through a lesser-known system that Sony uses to reward players for previous purchases.<\/p>\n

This opportunity comes courtesy of the Sony Rewards program, which ordinarily gives players points for every purchase they make using a connected account through the PlayStation Store. Members of the reward program may even be eligible for a discount if they’ve made enough purchases before picking up the PS5<\/a> when it becomes available.<\/p>\n

To pick up the system, customers will need to visit the Sony Rewards storefront at the proper time to gain access when the console is available for sale.
