Fans have just made new connections between the character Mirage and <em>Titanfall<\/em> veterans based on a new recording discovered aboard <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-kings-canyon-return-season-7\/\">the Mirage Voyage, which is included in the return of King\u2019s Canyon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Perceptive\u00a0players may remember hearing Mirage ask if anyone has seen his cellphone while he was supposed to be announcing <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/apex-legends-holo-day-bash-event-winter-express\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December\u2019s Winter Express Limited-Time Mode<\/a>. It turns out he left it on his own ship, the Mirage Voyage, which players can now find when they drop on King\u2019s Canyon in <em>Apex Legends<\/em>. Accessing the phone during a match will play a voicemail from Mirage\u2019s mom, Evelyn Witt.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-leaks-solo-mode-ranked\/\">Apex Legends Leak Suggests Solo Mode is Coming, But Don&#8217;t Hold Your Breath<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Evelyn Witt begins by impersonating <em>Titanfall 2 <\/em>antagonist and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-blisk-leak\/\">leaked legend Kubin Blisk<\/a> to mess with her son Elliot, whom everyone else knows as Mirage. Evelyn suffers from some form of dementia or memory loss it seems, so she forgets who she is talking to in the middle of the voicemail. She begins to ramble about how she misses her sons, and then mentions how she also misses her brother, Droz. She then adds the name Davis, and says the two together made her laugh.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/shrugtal\/status\/1350147122407092225?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Those familiar with the lore of <em>Titanfall 2 <\/em>may recognize the names Droz and Davis as two cheery members of the 6-4, a part of the Frontier Militia. The two assist player-protagonist Jack Cooper in boarding the IMS Malta on his way to stop the IMC from unleashing a superweapon on the Militia home planet Harmony.<\/p>\n<p>The two can be seen directing the player in <em>Titanfall<\/em> <em>2<\/em>\u2019s co-op Frontier Defense mode as well, where the player defends Harvesters, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-worlds-edge-trivia\/\">similar to the one at the center of World\u2019s Edge in <em>Apex<\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em>from IMC attack. Though the two banter like they are related and call each other brother, their differing accents suggest they are only \u201cbrothers-in-arms\u201d and not blood related. For now it is only officially confirmed that Droz is Elliot\u2019s uncle.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/THZnasCyvdM\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;width:480;height:360;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Later in the voicemail, Evelyn mentions that her son is celebrating her second anniversary of being in the Apex Games and that \u201cthere\u2019s a girl too, he started to talk about.\u201d The \u201cgirl\u201d in question is likely <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/apex-legends\/\"><em>Apex Legends<\/em><\/a>&#8216; Wraith, as the comics and trailers suggest there is a budding relationship between them, but it could also be Mirage is talking about his business partner Rampart, as she now runs her gun sales out of Mirage\u2019s bar.<\/p>\n<p>Mirage\u2019s anniversary will likely line up with the second anniversary of <em>Apex Legends, <\/em>which will take place on February 4. It has been leaked that a special anniversary event will be happening in <em>Apex Legends\u00a0<\/em>that will include <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-season-8-leak-anniversary-event-heirloom-shards\/\">new recolors of fan-favorite skins from the past two years<\/a>.
