The <\/span>World of Warcraft: Shadowlands<\/em><\/strong> expansion brought in many new characters and together with a plethora of old characters. Both new and old characters have been redesigned with fresh looks, especially for this new afterlife focused expansion. The artist PlexiCosplay cosplayed as one of the new characters, specifically Kryestia the Firstborne. Kryestia is the ruler of <\/span>Bastion, a kingdom in the Shadowlands<\/span><\/a> under the command of the Kyrian Covenant.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PlexiCosplay\u2019s cosplay has completely impressed fans, complete with the blue skin from head to toe, which is the skin color of the Kyrian. The cosplayer wore white vestments with gold lines, together with handcrafted eye-catching wings. A unique design choice that was given to the Kyrian by <\/span>World of Warcraft: Shadowlands<\/span><\/em><\/a> developers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to PlexiCosplay, the wings are 15 feet long, making it incredibly difficult to go unnoticed in cosplay events. The cosplay is quite accurate, as the Kyrians in <\/span>World of Warcraft: Shadowlands<\/span><\/em> also have their wings in similar proportions. Although the wings were just reused from PlexiCosplay\u2019s previous cosplay, it does not take away from the regality of her costume. It\u2019s safe to say that players are excited to u<\/a><\/span>pgrade their Convenant gear<\/span><\/a> after seeing Plexi\u2019s cosplay. The post has over 1.3K likes on Instagram as of January 17, 2021 as fans\u00a0seemed to be impressed with the cosplay and how it was designed, especially with the big wings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fans of PlexiCosplay even made hilarious comments, like \u201cKyrestia flight 77 you are cleared for takeoff, proceed to runway 4\u201d in reference to the ability of Kyrian\u2019s to fly. WoW developers brought in a lot of new armor sets in this expansion. Some of the <\/span>best-looking <\/span>Shadowlands<\/span><\/em> armor sets<\/span><\/a> have fans hoping for future cosplays. Hopefully, the cosplay community will pick this up in time for the next BlizzCon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the cosplay community praises the release of <\/span>Shadowlands<\/span><\/em> with its new characters. It is also a sad time for the community as Jarod Nandin who cosplayed as the <\/span>\u2018South Park Guy\u201d has passed away<\/span><\/a> recently from COVID-19. Nandin debuted way back on Blizzcon 2013\u2019s cosplay contest as the South Park Guy from <\/span>episode \u2018Make Love Not Warcraft.\u201d The cosplayer went on stage and perfectly recreated the character from the episode during BlizzCon.<\/span><\/p>\n

The World Health Organizations advises everyone to stay indoors and even play video games to help avoid the disease. Unfortunately, even <\/span>Cyberpunk 2077<\/span><\/em>, also lost a fan to COVID-19<\/span><\/a> before the game was released. The <\/span>World of Warcraft<\/span><\/em> community may have lost one of its iconic meme legends, but Jarod Nandin will not be forgotten for years to come.<\/span><\/p>\n
