Critics and fans were less favorable when it came to\u00a0<em>Battlefield 3<\/em>&#8216;s campaign, but perhaps that&#8217;s a drawback that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/battlefield-6-ps5-xbox-series-x-criticism-single-multiplayer-identity-destruction\/\">DICE can address in\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/battlefield-6-leaks-reveal-date-when\/\">Battlefield 6 Insider Discusses Recent Leaks and Possible Reveal Date<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Other details revealed by Henderson in the video include\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em>&#8216;s title. If Henderson&#8217;s information is correct,\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em> will be called &#8220;<em>Battlefield<\/em>,&#8221; with no number or subtitle. As far as gameplay goes,\u00a0Henderson reiterated a previous claim that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/battlefield-6-multiplayer-map-size-battle-royale\/\"><em>Battlefield 6<\/em> will support 128 players in its multiplayer<\/a>, which is larger than the player count in many battle royale games that are currently available.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V55ulvSK574\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;width:1280;height:720;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Henderson also touched on the release plan for\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em>\u00a0is expected to release in 2021, and when it does, it will launch for the newest consoles as well as last generation systems. However, it seems\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em>\u00a0on PS4 and Xbox One will be significantly less impressive than the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions. Apparently,\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/battle-field-6-map-rumor-setting\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">last-gen version of\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em><\/a>\u00a0will have less impressive graphics and significantly smaller multiplayer battles, capped at 64 players instead of 128 like the next-gen versions.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, fans should take this information with a grain of salt. While Henderson has accurately leaked news in the past, that doesn&#8217;t meant that this news is true, and the best course of action is to wait for an official announcement from EA. Assuming EA is hosting its <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/skate-4-reveal-ea-play-2020\/\">annual EA Play event during E3 season<\/a> in June, perhaps\u00a0the\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em> announcement will happen at that point, but fans will just have to wait and see.<\/p>\n<p>As far as other\u00a0<em>Battlefield 6<\/em> rumors go, previous leaks have teased the game&#8217;s setting. If those leaks are real,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/battlefield-6-setting-rumors-world-war-3\/\"><em>Battlefield 6<\/em> will be set during World War 3<\/a>, which could make for an interesting narrative, to say the least.
