The Man Without Fear boasts a storied comic history full of brilliant storylines as well as an excellent Netflix series that saw several key moments adapted \u2014 though <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/daredevil\/\">Daredevil<\/a> still lacks a proper game of his own.<\/p>\n<p>The closest Marvel fans have come to a game starring the protector of Hell\u2019s Kitchen was the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/daredevil-game-ps2\/\">leaked <em>Daredevil<\/em> video game footage<\/a> from late last year. Showing off a canceled game called <em>Daredevil: The Man Without Fear<\/em>, the PlayStation 2 era title saw Matt Murdock facing off with Kingpin. Characters like Bullseye and Elektra also appeared, and the game featured an odd rail-sliding mechanic as well as hand-to-hand combat. Unfortunately, development troubles and consistently changing visions for the project eventually led to its cancellation.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mcu-soft-reboot-marvel-netflix-shows\/\">How The MCU Could \u2018Soft-Reboot\u2019 The Marvel Netflix Shows<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/marvel-facts-fans-need-know-cancelled-daredevil-game\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the canceled <em>Daredevil<\/em> game<\/a> will never come to be, the character&#8217;s surge in popularity over recent years makes the possibility of a new game more likely. If it were to happen, there is certainly potential for an excellent modern game centered on the character. One Twitter user named @joe_fayant highlighted this, pitching a game set in Insomniac\u2019s <em>Spider-Man<\/em> universe where players need to fight crime and defend victims in court. Pushing for Troy Baker to play the lead character, the Marvel fan\u2019s premise for a game is certainly intriguing \u2014 and it seems Troy Baker feels the same.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TroyBakerVA\/status\/1350838402015391748?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Quoting the tweet and using the \u201ceyes\u201d emoji, Baker clearly seems to be hinting that he would like to see such a game be made. Appearing to show interest in the role of Matt Murdock, as this was the reason he was tagged in the post, Baker\u2019s acknowledgement of the fan\u2019s hopes is hard not to be excited about. With Baker having played <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/marvels-avengers-best-hulk-outfits-ranked\/\">The Hulk in <em>Marvel\u2019s Avengers<\/em><\/a>, The Joker in <em>Batman: Arkham Origins<\/em>, and Batman himself in Telltale\u2019s <em>Batman<\/em> series, the incredibly talented voiceover artist is no stranger to comic book roles.<\/p>\n<p>While this is far from confirmation of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/daredevil-game-ps5-rumor\/\">a potential <em>Daredevil<\/em> game<\/a> being in development and Baker\u2019s interest could lead to nothing, it is hard not to think of all the potential that a <em>Daredevil<\/em> game would have. Telltale-like choices can be made in court room segments, allowing players to embody the lawyer side of Matt Murdock. Something like <em>The Last of Us<\/em> series\u2019 listen mode for stealth sections could also be incorporated, taking advantage of the hero\u2019s advanced senses.<\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/daredevil-charlie-cox-spider-man-3-set\/\">Charlie Cox\u2019s Daredevil supposedly returning<\/a> via a role in the MCU\u2019s <em>Spider-Man 3<\/em>, an announcement of a <em>Daredevil<\/em> game could not come at a better time.
