With the DMR 14 and MAC-10 recently nerfed, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/call-of-duty-warzone\/\"><em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/a> players are in the process of switching to new weapons \u2014 though pro player NICKMERCS believes that there is good reason to stick with the MAC-10.<\/p>\n<p>While recent nerfs to the MAC-10 saw a fix to its <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-duty-warzone-mac-10-blueprint-accused-pay-win\/\">pay-to-win blueprint glitch<\/a>, the weapon remains viable. With the base gun only seeing a hit to its headshot damage, NICKMERCS sees no reason to stop using the gun until a further nerf is carried out. With the gun still boasting an insane fire rate and controllable recoil, NICKMERCS believes that the gun should continue to get use in <em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-warzone-operator-challenges\/\">Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Fans Aren&#8217;t Happy About Warzone Operator Challenges<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In his latest video detailing the weapon and its best loadout, NICKMERCS keeps much of his <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-nickmercs-mac-10-loadout\/\">original MAC-10 setup<\/a> intact, showing clips of the weapon dominating the competition despite having a similar build. The 5.3 Extended Barrel continues to give the weapon range, with the Muzzle Brake 9 left in the weapon\u2019s Muzzle slot. The Wire Stock and Patrol Grip are also kept in NICKMERCS\u2019 new MAC-10 build, meaning that only one attachment slot sees a change. However, this change is a big one, as it greatly improves the SMG.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6V4T_ReQrVA\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;width:1280;height:720;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>NICKMERCS\u2019 new loadout drops the STANAG 53 Rnd Drum seen in his original build and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-aydan-mac-10-no-recoil\/\">pro player Aydan\u2019s MAC-10 build<\/a>\u00a0in favor of the Salvo 53 Rnd Fast Mag, with the reason being fairly simple. According to NICKMERCS, putting a fast mag in the drum mag\u2019s place \u201cadds a little extra speed,\u201d something that can be hugely beneficial to a skilled player like himself. With the same round count in the fast mag, <em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> players should not need to reload any more often than normal, and those accurate with the small-but-deadly weapon can put the extra speed to a major advantage.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Muzzle<\/strong>: Muzzle Brake 9<\/li>\n<li><strong>Barrel<\/strong>: 5.3\u201d Extended<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stock<\/strong>: Wire Stock<\/li>\n<li><strong>Underbarrel<\/strong>: Patrol Grip<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ammunition<\/strong>: Salvo 53 Rnd Fast Mag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While those that enjoy the MAC-10 should be happy to see the gun continuing to be viable, <em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> fan and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-dr-disrespect-most-controversial-guns-changes\/\">streaming icon Dr Disrespect<\/a> will likely be furious with its continued dominance. With the streamer and his fans previously calling for changes to the overused weapon, it is easy to understand the Two Time\u2019s frustration with the gun. Still, with the \u201cDMRzone\u201d meta recently coming to an end, perhaps Raven will turn its attention to MAC-10 changes soon.<\/p>\n<p>For now, though, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-mac-10-nerfed\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the latest MAC-10 nerf<\/a> has not proven to be a deathblow for the <em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> weapon.
