Valorant<\/strong><\/em> Episode 2 has added plenty of new content to the game. As with any major content additions though, Valorant<\/em><\/a> Episode 2 has been plagued by bugs and glitches. Lately, a new game-breaking glitch on Ascent is causing player’s abilities to fall straight through the ground.<\/p>\n

In the past, Riot has had to roll back patches that included a new Agent because of technical issues<\/a>. It makes sense that the latest Agent addition, Yoru, has come to the game with a few issues thanks to his newness. His Gatecrash has caused players to take fall damage and die after emerging from the rip. While the issues with Yoru generally only affect the team when they are picked, another glitch can essentially make the game unplayable regardless of the player’s choice of Agent.<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time maps have been a controversial aspect of Valorant<\/em><\/a>. Recently, OCE caster Crashmaaate originally found and posted a glitch where it seems Agent abilities fall through the Ascent map without their effect going off. The first time they noticed it was playing Phoenix on Ascent when the Agent’s Hot-Hand ability fell through the floor. The first clip uploaded was a complete accident, but Crashmaate later went on to experiment with the glitch and other Agents in custom games. They were able to prove the glitch in the first clip wasn’t a one-time problem and was\u00a0actually a glitched spot in the ground on Ascent.<\/p>\n
