Redlock Studio\u2019s third-person open-world adventure game Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King <\/em><\/strong>started out as a Kickstarter campaign in 2016. An ambitious dark fantasy title that offers Souls-like combat combined with platforming, the PC-only game will exit Early Access on February 17, 2021.<\/p>\n

Available on Steam, Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King <\/em>has earned a Mostly Positive rating from players during its time in Early Access, which began in June 2019. Gamers praised the RPG\u2019s music, atmosphere, and gameplay, comparing its visual style to 2018\u2019s <\/a>Ashen<\/a>. <\/em>Fans of the Dark Souls <\/em>series and Bloodborne <\/em>will find the gameplay familiar and challenging.<\/p>\n

Redlock Studio spent over a decade creating the world of Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King <\/em>through tabletop RPG campaigns<\/a>, complete with distinctive lands, deep lore, and powerful foes. In the game, <\/em>the old world has gone, lost with the disappearance of the King who created it. The player takes on the role of the Wanderer, tasked with putting together the fragments of civilization by traveling through the forsaken world of Hypnos and gathering the tales of survivors.<\/p>\n
