While the game community is debating the data, many fans see more than a coincidence within the player&#8217;s record. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/call-of-duty-warzone\/\"><em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/a> has recently been under scrutiny for lobby manipulation, which may be the turning point in community opinions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/warzone-methods-hackers-use-misconceptions\/\"><em>Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> has been under observation<\/a> by its community following the reveal of player data and many SBMM allegations. As players look closer at the mechanics behind the game&#8217;s matchmaking, one fan has uncovered some startling numbers that may be more than just a coincidence. <em>Call of Duty: Warzone&#8217;s <\/em>lobby may be doing more than just pairing players based on skill.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-nickmercs-activsion-private-stats\/\">NICKMARCs Weighs In On Activision&#8217;s Private Stats Decisions For Call of Duty: Warzone<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a Reddit post authored by rmx49,\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-easier-lobbies-purchase\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Call of Duty: Warzone <\/em>fan noticed a chance in lobby placement<\/a> directly following a purchase made from the in-game cosmetic shop. He breaks down his thinking in the comments, pointing out that he was constantly being placed in Diamond tier lobbies despite having a K\/D ratio of 0.7. After fighting in games against players whose K\/D is triple theirs, the player made a purchase and noticed that their lobbies suddenly dropped to bronze and silver.<\/p>\n<p>Using Google Sheets, he begins to track his game as he tried to break down exactly what the in-game SBMM was doing. While there is no evidence that this patent is in effect in <em>Call of Duty: Warzone, <\/em>it still stands out as an interesting point in his overall argument towards SBMM manipulation.<\/p>\n<p>Furthering his theory, he points towards streamers that are being accused of abusing the SBMM system. All of this is in theory, but his data makes many players consider that it may be closer to the truth than previously thought.
