Star Wars<\/em> <\/a><\/strong>introduced several iconic film characters that continue to endure as fan-favorites decades after the original trilogy concluded, including Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia Organa. Now, a Deepfake video imagines what Stranger Things<\/em> and Godzilla vs. Kong<\/em> star Millie Bobby Brown might look like as the famous Star Wars<\/em> heroine.<\/p>\n

After a string of supporting roles in television shows including BBC’s The Intruders<\/em> and ABC’s\u00a0Once Upon a Time in Wonderland<\/em>, Brown was introduced to most audiences as the\u00a0psychokinetic and telepathic child known as Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things<\/em>. The success of the series paved the way for Brown to land her first feature film roles with projects such as Netflix’s Enola Holmes<\/em>, in which she portrays the titular sister of Sherlock Holmes, and two of Legendary’s MonsterVerse movies<\/a> starting with Godzilla: King of the Monsters<\/em>.<\/p>\n

While Brown has not joined the Star Wars<\/em> franchise, Stryder\u00a0HD\u00a0created a new Deepfake video that imagines the Stranger Things<\/em> star as Princess Leia using footage from some of the character’s most memorable moments in the original trilogy. The popularity of the video prompted the creator to later utilize the same technology to place Brown into Princess Leia’s cameo at the end of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story<\/em><\/a>. While Disney and Lucasfilm do not appear to have any intention of producing a Star Wars<\/em> project featuring a younger Princess Leia at this time, the teenage version of the character, voiced by Julie Dolan, famously appeared in a 2016 episode of the\u00a0animated series\u00a0Star Wars Rebels<\/i>. Of course, Fisher would reprise the role of Leia in Star Wars: The Force Awakens<\/em> and The Last Jedi<\/em>\u00a0before\u00a0posthumously appearing in The<\/em> Rise of Skywalker<\/em> through repurposed deleted footage\u00a0originally shot for\u00a0the first chapter of the sequel trilogy.<\/p>\n
