Following the Marvel Comics-heavy &#8220;Nexus War&#8221; that made up Season 4, this current season kicked off by introducing characters from <em>The Mandalorian<\/em>, and has since included representatives from <em>Halo<\/em>, <em>God of War<\/em>, <em>The Walking Dead<\/em>, and <em>The Predator<\/em>. However, Epic Games is now offering refunds on <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-terminator-skins-sarah-connor-january-2021\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s T-800 skin, added this week\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0<em>Terminator<\/em> franchise<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The walking metallic skeleton, based on James Cameron&#8217;s <em>Terminator 2: Judgment Day<\/em>, was added to the battle royale on January 21\u00a0alongside Sarah Connor. Players can purchase these skins for 1,500 and 1,800 V-Bucks respectively,\u00a0but also available in this Future War set are a Techno-Grip Axe and Cyberdyne Salute emote, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>&#8216;s website.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-developer-funding-animated-movie-based-epic-gilgamesh\/\">Fortnite Developer Funding Animated Movie Based On The Epic Of Gilgamesh<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>There was initially some confusion in that the wording of the website post suggested the Cyberdyne Salute emote would come packaged with the T-800 Terminator skin. Epic Games issued a correction yesterday, which was also posted to Twitter, that offers fans the opportunity to get a refund if they are &#8220;no longer satisfied with your purchase.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-cosmetic-refund-system-return-june\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em> has offered refunds for cosmetics<\/a> in the past so this is not an unusual move, but those who would like to initiate the process must wait until they receive an in-game notification on the matter sometime next week.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FortniteStatus\/status\/1352753072020320257?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While some fans may have been disappointed that the new <em>Terminator<\/em>-themed emote was not packaged with the T-800 skin, it&#8217;s likely this is not the biggest issue with recent crossover characters that players are running into. A cloaking device included with the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-plagued-new-invisibility-glitch\/\">Predator <em>Fortnite<\/em> skin allows users to become invisible indefinitely<\/a>\u00a0thanks to one glitch, and the Baby Yoda\/Grogu back bling may block a player&#8217;s view when aiming.<\/p>\n<p>Despite these occasional issues, <em>Fortnite<\/em> Season 5 continues and there will likely be plenty more surprises for fans of the battle royale beyond its crossover with the <em>Terminator<\/em> franchise. In fact, leaks circulating online thanks to dataminers suggest that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-tomb-raider-lara-croft-leak\/\"><em>Tomb Raider<\/em> will be crossing over with <em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a> sometime soon, giving gamers the opportunity to live out their wild fantasies of seeing Master Chief and Lara Croft build a house together.<\/p>\n<p>New character skins and other unlockable contents are not the only things <em>Fortnite<\/em> players should be prepared for through the remainder of Season 5 and beyond.
