Unlike Fire, Water, and Leaf Stones, Shiny Stones do not prioritize a certain Pokemon type. The Pokemon it is usable on range from Grass, Poison, Flying, Normal and Fairy-type.

For Sword and Shield players, finding the Pokemon that can use a Shiny Stone is a more difficult challenge than finding the stone itself. There are places where players are bound to catch what they are looking for, or they can try their luck with Dynamax Raids.

4 Togetic To Togekiss

This evolution line can be a pain for beginner Pokemon players to evolve. The first form is Togepi, and it can only be evolved through friendship. Then players will have the second stage evolution, Togetic, that can only be evolve with a Shiny Stone to become a Togekiss. Prior to the X and Y games, this evolution line was Normal-type. Since that generation though, it is Fairy-type. In fact, there is no other Pokemon out there with Togetic and Togekiss’s type combination of Fairy and Flying.

RELATED: Pokemon: 10 Unorthodox Team Compositions That Actually Do Well In Online Ranked Battles

In the Sword and Shield games, the entire evolution line is a bit difficult to capture. Togetic can only be found in the Stony Wilderness during foggy weather, and only has a 10 percent spawn rate. Additionally, it can only be found randomly in the tall grass, not ever as an overworld spawn. That is the only way to get a Togetic in the wild. Of course, players can evolve it from Togepi but that does take friendship points instead of leveling which can be a challenge.

3 Roselia To Roserade

Part Grass and part Poison-type, Roselia is a little Pokemon that has been a part of the games since the third generation. However, its evolution, Roserade, was not introduced until generation four. It actually has a lot in common with Togetic, as it is a second stage Pokemon in a three stage evolution line. Also like Togetic, its first stage form, Budew, only evolves into Roselia through friendship (and only during the day). Then a Shiny Stone is needed to turn Roselia into Roserade.

RELATED: 10 Most Common Strategies In Competitive Pokemon

Catching Roselia in the Sword and Shield games is a weather-dependent journey. For the highest spawn rate, players should seek Roselia out at Axew’s Eye during overcast weather. Spawn rates there are at 40 percent and the Roselia there are only found randomly in the tall grass, not overworld. In that location, they are between levels 35 and 40.

2 Minccino To Cincicco

This adorable Normal-type Pokemon was introduced in the Black and White generation. For players with Pokemon Sword, Minccino are best caught in the tall grass at the Rolling Fields during normal weather. For Pokemon Shield, players have a better chance to find Minccino at East Lake Axewell in the tall grass during weather that is overcast, heavy fog, snowstorm, or snowing. Players with Pokemon Sword will have a higher spawn rate at 30 percent while Shield players have a 20 percent spawn rate at the highest.

1 Floette To Florges

Roselia is not the only flower-inspired Pokemon to use a Shiny Stone. Introduced in the X and Y games, Floette is a pure Fairy-type Pokemon (though it can easily be confused with a Grass-type). Its evolution line has three stages, starting with Flabebe. Once Flabebe reaches level 19, it becomes a Floette. Only with a Shiny Stone can it become its final stage, Florges. The Pokemon also comes in five different colors: yellow, red, orange, blue, and white. The colors are merely aestheticical differences and change nothing else about the Pokemon.

Floette and its evolution line are unobtainable in the Sword and Shield games and were not added in the DLC expansions. Players can keep them in Pokemon Home, but will not be able to transfer them to the game. Hopefully, future games will give this evolution line its comeback. For now though, players can save their Shiny Stones for other Pokemon.

NEXT: Pokemon Sword & Shield: 10 Pokemon That Are Overrated In Online Ranked Play

立刻註冊及報名電腦補習課程吧!

Find A Teacher Form:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1vREBnX5n262umf4wU5U2pyTwvk9O-JrAgblA-wH9GFQ/viewform?edit_requested=true#responses

Email:

public1989two@gmail.com

www.itsec.hk
www.itsec.vip
www.itseceu.uk

Not many Pokémon in Galar evolve with the help of a Shiny Stone.
