Amidst game-breaking bugs from the word &#8220;go&#8221; and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/cyberpunk-2077-crashing-update-1-10\/\">hotfixes that seem to break the game further<\/a>, everyone seems to want to take a shot at the game and its developer CD Projekt Red. Even billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has had a thing or two to say about the studio&#8217;s latest attempts to appease disappointed gamers.<\/p>\n<p>Taking to Twitter yesterday, Musk made lighthearted fun of the fact that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/cyberpunk-2077\/\"><em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em><\/a>&#8216;s recent hotfixes have themselves required fixes on top of them to undo the damage. This comment is likely in response to the recent 1.11 update which was made available shortly after an earlier patch did not fix some of the biggest issues with crashing experienced by players. The 1.11 update does, however, fix one major fault with the game in which one mission became unplayable due to an NPC not saying anything on a call.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/cyberpunk-2077-1-11-update-game-breaking-bug-fix\/\">Cyberpunk 2077 1.11 Update Fixes Major Game-Breaking Bug<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Elon Musk is no stranger to trolling <em>Cyberpunk<\/em>, either. In December 2020, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla replied to a Twitter <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/elon-musk-cyberpunk-2077-twitter-trolling\/\">post from an apologetic CD Projekt Red<\/a>, in which he posted a screenshot from Reddit showing a disgruntled fan expressing their disappointment over the game&#8217;s launch. That wasn&#8217;t all. Musk posted another tweet beneath which showed a mock-up image in which the <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> logo was Photoshopped onto a still from the TV show <em>The Office<\/em>, specifically the scene in which Michael Scott mockingly pokes his finger through his pants zipper.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1354934611953016843\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The interactions didn&#8217;t end there. Just yesterday, Musk &#8211; a self-confessed video game fan &#8211; announced that his company&#8217;s current Tesla <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/cyberpunk-2077-tesla-elon-musk\/\">Plaid Model S is able to play <em>Cyberpunk<\/em> and <em>The Witcher 3<\/em><\/a>. He even added an option to change the car&#8217;s horn and turn signal sounds to a line from the &#8220;Toss a Coin to Your Witcher&#8221; which song featured in the 2019 Netflix adaptation of <em>The Witcher<\/em> series.<\/p>\n<p>Despite all the ribbing, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/elon-musk-richest-man-in-world\/\">the richest man in the world<\/a> has said he is a fan of <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> calling it a &#8220;great game.&#8221; With all the controversy about the release and the quick succession of patches, CD Projekt Red&#8217;s ambitious sci-fi RPG has still received high praise, particularly for its detailed story, visual style and huge immersive world.
