There have been many bugs, glitches, and other gameplay issues that have appeared in Call of Duty<\/em> games, and Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/strong> has been no exception. Warzone<\/em> had teleporting bugs<\/a>, bugs that gave players unlimited revivals, bugs that crashed the game for players, and many more that impacted gameplay.<\/p>\n

Players discovered\u00a0a\u00a0new Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/a> bug when players wearing a ghillie suit skin started turning invisible in front of each other. The skin is bugged and will make players\u00a0partly invisible to enemy players the further away they are from each other. Unless seen by scopes or players aiming down sights, players wearing the ghillie suit will be invisible except\u00a0for the\u00a0head and weapon they’re carrying.<\/p>\n

There have been issues with some\u00a0skins in the past, such as\u00a0the Warzone<\/em> Roze skin<\/a>\u00a0being considered pay-to-win. The bugged ghillie suit is the Grinch skin\u00a0called Forest Spirit that has been available since August 2020 from the purchasable Eloko Bundle. Various players and Warzone<\/em> streamers also talked about\u00a0the invisibility bug showing different aspects\u00a0of the bug from the game.<\/p>\n

Warzone<\/em> streamer PrestigeisKey showed in a recent video that the Forest Spirit skin is still purchasable in the Eloko bundle on the PC platform despite reports that it was removed from the game. A video released three days ago from streamer NOPsledUPSIDEyaHEAD\u00a0showed the Warzone<\/em>\u00a0invisibility bug<\/a>\u00a0is also on the PC version where\u00a0he spotted an invisible player with only a head and weapon before\u00a0aiming down sights.\u00a0Warzone<\/em>\u00a0streamer Scop3s also showed\u00a0the Forest Spirit invisibility bug in action that showed\u00a0similar\u00a0results.<\/p>\n

Both\u00a0streamers’ videos backed up\u00a0the ghillie\u00a0suit invisibility bug details and commented that\u00a0the bug has been in the game at least as long as the skin has been available. However, Scop3s tested the bugged skin’s invisibility bug with other players showing\u00a0the various distances that\u00a0players would\u00a0start to disappear. The shortest is 34 meters with no ADS, the second is 55 meters with low ADS, and the farthest the video showed was 125 meters while aiming with a 4x scope on a sniper rifle.<\/p>\n

Scop3s comments that the numbers he recorded will likely be different for other players depending on the scopes they use on their weapons. Warzone<\/em> has had several invisibility bugs\u00a0before like that made players invisible and invincible, a bug that made Warzone<\/em> players and objects invisible<\/a>, or the attack helicopter bug\u00a0that turned players fully invisible. Until\u00a0Activision resolves this latest invisibility bug, Warzone<\/em> players will have to deal with invisible players in ghillie suits.<\/p>\n

Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/strong> is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X\/S.<\/p>\n
