Outside of being able to fly planes, part of the allure of\u00a0Microsoft Flight Simulator\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is its ability to allow players to see the world. Unfortunately, much of the world in the game is somewhat unpolished, but Microsoft is aiming to fix that with a series of updates. It’s third update will be an overhaul to the UK<\/a>, and it was initially supposed to have already released, but has been delayed to February. Despite this, Microsoft has already shared what’s next, a look at the regions of France, Belgium,\u00a0The Netherlands, and Luxembourg.<\/p>\n

Microsoft Flight Simulator<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is methodically making its way around the world and updating its imagery with photogrammetry, a technique that should help to create more realistic and accurate spaces within the game. It’s employed updates like this for the regions of Japan and the United States, and now fans can look forward to these other European countries.<\/p>\n

The France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg update is due sometime in March, meaning players won’t have to wait long between updates. Since the Japan update initially released in September<\/a> and the US update didn’t release for another two months after that, many were expecting the fourth update to be delayed alongside the UK one. Thankfully, that doesn’t appear to have been the case.<\/p>\n
