One fan in particular has begun creating their own, custom mini-series that follows a new Spartan on a mission investigating a broken ship sometime <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-infinite-monthly-update-january-2021\/\">before the events of\u00a0<em>Halo Infinite<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Normally, machinima wouldn&#8217;t be anything new to YouTube, especially in the case of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/halo\/\"><em>Halo<\/em><\/a>\u00a0which has been responsible for a huge amount of this type of content over the years. The difference in this case is that the content creator going by HaloVFX is a visual effects artist that is creating these CGI animations from scratch, as opposed to borrowing assets or animations from the game.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-infinite-new-equipment\/\">Halo Infinite May Have More New Equipment Besides Just the Grappleshot<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Titled &#8220;Operation: Charity Falls,&#8221; the mini-series follows a lone Spartan on a mission to investigate the High Charity and retrieve a Covenant artifact that is supposedly on their ship. As this unnamed Spartan searches, they find some creepy corridors, as one would expect to find in a crashed shipped that is supposedly devoid of life. However, to add to the suspense, and eventually slip in some action-packed scenes, it seems that the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-flood-forms-ranked\/\">classic\u00a0<em>Halo<\/em> enemy the Flood<\/a>\u00a0has grown while the ship was otherwise abandoned.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wyV97RqpNb4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So far, the first two episodes of the mini-series are available to watch on YouTube, each ranging between one and two minutes of quality animation inspired by <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-master-chief-collection-season-5-update-armor\/\">the\u00a0<em>Halo<\/em> series<\/a>. A teaser for a third episode is also available on HaloVFX&#8217;s YouTube channel, which kicks off the action as the Spartan first runs into the hoard of Flood that have slowly taken over the High Charity. From what has been shown off so far, the mini-series is a tense, cinematic adventure within the\u00a0<em>Halo<\/em> universe, even if it&#8217;s a non-canon experience.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wEiuNXjaFPA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As far as new content coming to YouTube goes,\u00a0<em>Halo<\/em> has always been a strong series for viewers, usually with gameplay footage and machinima having dominate the platform at one time. HaloVFX definitely has an audience on the site, even if the algorithm isn&#8217;t necessarily kind to these types of short-form narratives.
