For those players that can’t get enough of the Souls-like genre,\u00a0Eldest Souls\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>may be exactly what they need. Though it was initially only planned to launch for PC and Nintendo Switch<\/a>, developer Fallen Flag Studio recently confirmed that the title will be making its way onto PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X at launch as well. The game is still set to release in Q2 of 2021, so excited players will have to wait a bit to get their hands on it.<\/p>\n

Eldest Souls\u00a0<\/em>is looking to be a unique take on thie ever-growing genre of souls-like games<\/a>, featuring a top-down perspective and pixelated characters and enemies. Players will need to challenge the Old Gods that have returned to ravage the world that forgot them, and in doing so will continue to grow in power and prestige.<\/p>\n

Fallen Flag Studio describes\u00a0Eldest Souls\u00a0<\/em>as a boss rush type of game<\/a>, where players will take on increasingly challenging bosses as they progress through the story. There’s also an emphasis on players being able to create a wide variety of builds with the abilities they collect during their playthrough, ensuring that every player will have a slightly different experience than the last.<\/p>\n
